- DS TTT Procedures
- Make sure you have read the rules thoroughly (https://forums.dominationservers.com/showthread.php?tid=366) and understand them. Any questions just ask.
- Things to remember:
- -F8 is the key for damagelogs and report manager.
- -It may be useful to bind a key to the ULX menu. (e.g. (bind . "ulx menu") - will bind . to open the menu)
- Note: Punishments are up to your discretion, please use these examples for MAXIMUM punishments only.
- Slaying:
- RDM: 1 slay
- Attempted RDM: 1 slay
- Blatant RDM: 2 slays
- RDM of Detective/Traitor: 2 slays
- TVT: 2 slays
- Blatant TVT: 3 slays
- Propkilling: 1 slay
- Traitor Baiting: 1 slay
- False KOS: 1 slay
- Delaying: 1 slay
- RDM and leave: 2 slays
- Exploiting: slay immediatley
- Banning:
- Mass RDM: 5 slays + 1 week ban
- Constant RDM (multiple rounds): 1 week ban
- Metagaming/ghosting 1 day ban - 1 week ban - 1 month ban - permanent ban
- DDos/personal info/hacks/threats: permanent ban
- Gagging and Muting:
- Music/noise/spam: gag/mute
- Abuse: warn then gag/mute
- Admin chat spam/abuse warning, kick if continued.
- Definiton of Blatant:
- - (of bad behaviour) done openly and unashamedly, on purpose, obviously
- Having a reason is not blatant, for example: killing on suspicion, while still RDM, is not blatant).
- Blatantly breaking rules should always add one slay to the original punishment.
- DEALING WITH PLAYERS:
- Metagamers:
- If someone has been killing traitors without sufficient evidence, and they have friends on the server, they are probably metagaming.
- To investigate successfully, and stealthily, type ulx friends <their name> in the console, and look at the chat box for the return.
- If they have friends on the server, you will want to go spectator, and watch them and their friends, and look for clues like more
- blatantly RDMing of traitors. Use ulx micon on the dead friends to see what they say, if they're talking at all. If they are, listen,
- and ulx micoff if they get suspicious. Investigate all of the friends that player has, and once you have sufficient evidence that
- they're talking together, and they're ghosting, you can ban them all.
- Mass RDMers:
- 3 blatant RDMs or more can be considered mass RDM or at least attempted.
- If they are in the process of Mass RDMing, and you're 100% sure they're not traitor, you simply need to slay them, then ban for a week.
- Examples of RDMers:
- Turtle (innocent) killed Dan (innocent) with ak47
- Victim hadn't shot (in shot logs)
- - Possible RDM
- Turtle (innocent) damaged jas (innocent) for 89 damage wih ak47
- jas killed Turtle with mac10
- - Looks like Turtle Attempted RDM on jas
- ULX Commands Guide:
- Use the ulx commands in console, and the !commands in chat.
- * - targets all players on the server.
- Example: !ungag *
- Ungags all players on the server.
- If you use this with a higher rank on the server, instead of a message displaying
- "You have ungagged Everyone.", it will display all users on the server you have targetted except
- the higher ranks. When this happens the players name colours display if they are alive or dead,
- basically giving all players alive that information. The same can be said for using any command
- when you, or the player you are targeting is dead, but are still MIA, showing their current status
- to the alive players on the server.
- ^ - targets the player who used the command. DO NOT use !kick ^ or !ban ^ as it is a ulx glitch
- where the server will crash.
- Example: !slay ^ slays yourself.
- Use " " to target players that have spacing in their names, or similar names. You will have
- to type the exact name in the quotation marks for it to target that player. The same applies
- to a reason given.
- Example: !aslay "dan the goose" 4 "Blatant RDM x2"
- Can also use partials of the name. If no one else has the string "goose" in their name,
- !aslay goose 4 "blatant rdmx2" could be used.
