What is Map Glitch?
Map Glitch is a glitch that allows you to take control of your opponent and then give up, making the speedrun super short, and allowing you to win every match by just hitting give up for the opponent. The WR using this glitch is 13:14, so it cuts a significant amount of time out of the run.

What is WR/World Record?
The WR for No Map Glitch is 44:30 by SiliconSquid/Alistair Grant

What is the ETA/Estimated Time for your first run?
I don't know. The final level alone could take 10 minutes, or take a few hours depending on how many mistakes I make and my RNG.

What is the general strategy?
In almost every level in the game, the opponent will always do the same actions assuming you move your troops in the same way. There are a couple of RNG spots, but those can be backed up, I still don't know them all, so I may yield even if I could back it up. The final level, however, is unique.

What's up with the final level?
What the opponent does in the final level is completely luck. There is currently no known way to manipulate what your opponent does, so I need to react to everything. This means (except day 1 and a bit of day 2) what I do is up to me and my decision making. There is an easier strat, but it's a lot slower, so I will instead learn the faster strat, in exchange for a high likelihood of having to restart the mission several times.

Why do you skip days on mission 8?
If you beat mission 8 faster than I do, you will get extra missions you are required to play, and in order to avoid that, I stall a few days at the end.

What is your goal?
I would like to maybe get the WR someday, but that will be in the distant future. For now, I am going to try to get sub 1 hour then get sub 50.

When will you play Luigi's Mansion again?
I don't know. I have been considering doing some offline runs, and if I do it would probably be to try to get the 56. I don't know if I will stream LM soon, but if I feel like it I might. There's also a tournament for Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour coming up pretty soon that I entered so plan on spending a lot of my offline speedrunning on that, so between AW and MGTT, I don't have much time for LM.
