Lets have a playdate

Covet: Kelsey was sitting in a booth, letting her face hover over her warm bowl of soup, letting the steam hit her face. Her and Connor both were miserable, He'd managed to pick up a bug and of course, being Mom, she was the first person it was shared with. // Connor was not eating soup and was instead was eating chicken strips because they scratch his throat and make it feel better.
Alexithymiaa: -Brad was sitting across from the two of them at the booth, his laptop in front of him as he was opening and closing files, checking things over and making sure he was all set before looking across the table to the two of them. "I take it you're not feeling any better?"-
Covet: "I am a little. My head just feels stuffy. Like there's a teddy bear stuffed in my head." She said sounding about the same as she described. "But I'm getting lots of vitamin C and fluids So I'll be alright." Kelsey gave him a smile. // Connor looked up at Kelsey, "Momma, I'm sorry for getting you sick. At least you aren't working with Dad like before."
Alexithymiaa: "Right? It's a good thing we were done shooting before you got sick otherwise this would have been a lot harder to get through." He opened the correct file, making the video full screen before turning his laptop around completely for the two of them to see. "Do you want to watch it before I send it off? It doesnt have any of the special effects in it yet, but you can get a pretty good idea of what it's going to look like."-
Covet: "Thanks, Kiddo, but it's not your fault. These things just happen. I probably would have died." Kelsey said, then perked up a little bit when Brad offered to show her the rough cut of the video, "Oh yes, of course I do!" // Connor smiled and gave Kelsey a hug, "Yeah I wanna see too, Dad!"

Alexithymiaa: "I figured you would. I wanted my two favorite people's approval before I sent it off to the editors. Just keep in mind things are going to look a whole lot better than they do now with all of the stuff added in." He reached over the top of the laptop and hit play, listening as the quiet sound of the music filled their little area since he was keeping it low to be courteous since they were in a public place. "Doesn't Momma look awesome?"-
Covet: Kelsey smiled as she watched the screen, her eyes bright as she beamed, even though she was sick and feeling crappy, she looked very happy. "Bradley this turned out soo good." She said clapping her hands together. // Connor watched while eating his chicken strips "Wow, Momma you did all them stunts?"
Alexithymiaa: "Yep, she did all of the stunts herself. We didnt call in a professional for any of them because Momma practiced and trained with the pros until she could safely do them herself. RIght?" He said, trying to reenforce the point that Kelsey had trained and wasnt being a jackass about dangerous stunts. "It's amazing what we can do when we all work together and work hard." Being a dad.-

Covet: Kelsey smiled. "Yep. It took a long time, but it definitely shows." She reached over and ruffled his hair. "Dad's right, Team work is very important. // Connor rolled his eyes, "I know Momma, they tell us that at school all the time."
Alexithymiaa: "It's good they're teaching you right then." He said like a fucking HYPOCRITE. "Are you excited to go back?" He asked him, listening to the tail ends of the audio for the video.-
Covet: Kelsey laughed and shook her head at Bradley. "You say that like I didn't do my research beforehand." // Connor nodded, "Yeah, because I'll get to see all my friends again."
Alexithymiaa: "I know, I know. I just wanted to make sure." he said as he eyed Kelsey, reaching to turn his computer back around again so he could send the file off to the editors. "You know you can invite your friends over to play outside of school too."-
Covet: She smiled and looked at Connor, "Yeah Kiddo, if you wanted to have some friends over all you had to do was ask. // Connor looked at them, "I dunno, they all have houses to go to, and we live at the college, so it's kinda weird." He said. "I like it's cool, but I don't know if they will like it."
Covet: *it, it's cool
Alexithymiaa: "What's not to like? You've got all your toys just the same as they have theirs. And you get to see all sorts of cool people coming and going, which is definitely cooler than some stuffy house. Maybe you want to invite a friend to help you with your show one day?"-
Covet: Kelsey understood what he was getting at and felt a little guilty, she was thinking for a moment, biting the inside of her cheek. Living in the dorms served a function, with the added security of the scanner, it was a safe place for Connor to be. // "I don't know, It's just not normal?" Connor said shrugging his arms. "I could ask and see if maybe one of them wants to come over to be on my show, I guess."
Alexithymiaa: "You can show them how big and cool your kitchen is with everything going on there, right?" He asked, glancig at Kelsey for affirmation of what he was talking about. He just wanted Connor to live a normal life even though Kelsey's fame would eventually make that kind of difficult for him.-
Covet: Kels nodded her head, then turned to Brad, "Unless... Maybe I could talk to Steph about borrowing the AGD house for a night so that he could have a sleep over with a few friends?" // Connor nodded his head, "It is a cool kitchen, but It's not a house. And I couldn't have them stay, because there's not enough beds. And wouldn't Momma get in trouble?" He asked applying the same question to the AGD house. "What's that place?"
Alexithymiaa: -He tipped his head to one side, considering the idea before giving her a shrug of his shoulders. "I can't see why she wouldn't let you. It's not like you're going to leave a big mess behind. She knows you'll take care of the house and make sure no one breaks anything." He paaused looking to Connor. "That's the house the sorority Momma is in, owns. Or rents. I don't know, but cousin Steph runs it and she'd probably let you and your friends play there."-
Covet: "It has a pool too, so you and your friends could bring your swim suits, and it has a movie theatre downstairs too." She said with a big smike, "Remember we were there when we did the pumpkin contest last year?" // Connor listened to them and his eyes brightened up at the words Pool and theatre. "Yes! can we, can we can we!" He asked jumping up and down on his seat, looking like he was suddenly feeling a lot better.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, it'll be lots of fun." Brad said with a laugh as he watched Connor get all excited. "We have to get you feeling better first though because we dont want to make any of your friends sick. It's not nice to send everyone home sick, right Little Man?"-
Covet: "That's not even a question. The only sick party a kid should go to is maybe a Chicken pox party." She said then looked at the time, "We should probably get back to the dorms, We can call Steph tomorrow and see if she'll be okay with us borrowing the AGD house." // Connor nodded his head at Brad, then looked at Kelsey shaking his head no, " No, Chicken pox are bad, I don't want them." He said then nodded, "I want to call her and ask though. Cause it's for my friends. But we have to sleep so that tomorrow comes, so let's go." He said getting out of the booth.
Alexithymiaa: "Okay okay. You can call tomorrow and ask. I think that's very responsible of you." He said with a smile, sliding out of the booth and leaning in to grab his laptop, pushing it down into his backpack. Zipping up the bag, he swung it up and onto his back, looking down at the two.-
Covet: Kelsey stood up and watched as Brad got his things together and smiled. "And you two are going to let Momma sleep in tomorrow right?" Kelsey said, greatly looking forward to the sleeps. // "Yeah, we can do that Momma. We can have cereal and watch cartoons in the morning while you sleep." Connor said making plans for him and Brad.
Alexithymiaa: "Hey, don't look at me. I'm not the one who would go on waking you up." He faltered, sort of gawking at Connor for a moment before collecting himself. "Like morning cartoons? In the morning?"-
Covet: Kelsey laughed and headed out the door towards the car. // "No the morning ones are for babies, the good ones don't start until later." Connor said scoffing, because obviously Superheros should come before toddler programs in the morning. He walked with them to the car to do the sleep things.
