DK64 101% Speedrun FAQ

Q: What is required in 101%?
A: 201 Golden Bananas, 40 Banana Medals (which require 75 normal bananas per kong per level), 20 Banana Fairies, 10 Battle Crowns, 8 keys, the Nintendo Coin, and the Rareware Coin.

Q: Why is it 101% and not 100%?
A: Rare likes to add extra percents to the 100% counter for hidden items in Donkey Kong games. In DK64, there is a secret Rareware Golden Banana that adds the extra 1%

Q: What is the world record?
A: 6:27:30 by Znernicus.

Q: How low do you think this speedrun can get?
A: It's hard to say. At the very least, a low 6:20 is possible, probably even sub 6:20.

Q: Why do you not do Funky Weapons Glitch (aka Intro Story Glitch)?
A: This run is intended to collect everything organically. This is also the reason why duplicating golden bananas is banned.
