  3. - Holding down ctrl+s (circle/b + d-pad down on controller) speeds up the text immensely faster than simply just holding ctrl. Holding down c speeds up the bullet loading animations for Nonstop Debates.
  4. - While meant for gentle, this guide can be used for all difficulties, but higher difficulties have a couple added mechanics not
  5. listed here such as white noise and limited PTA ammo.
  6. - Abbreviation Guide: MC: Multiple Choice, ND: Nonstop Debate, : RS: Rebuttal Showdown, LD: Logic Dive, PTA: Panic Talk Action,
  7. HG: Hangman’s Gambit, SS: Spot Selection, PE: Present Evidence, CS: Character Select
  8. - Multiple choice options and closing argument panels are placed randomly.
  9. - Mouse and keyboard is much faster on closing arguments and somewhat faster on hangman’s gambit, but otherwise use what is
  10. comfortable. I personally switch between controller and mouse and keyboard.
  11. - I will not specify which bullet to use if you do not need to switch bullets.
  12. - Holding control when the nonstop debates start doesn’t seem to make the initial truth bullets appear faster, but holding circle
  13. on controller does. Not sure why.
  14. - Practice your closing arguments especially. It will save you lots of time in the long run.
  15. - Being able to prefire (shoot the statements right as they appear on screen) can also save you quite a bit of time, so it is
  16. definitely worth practicing the trials to learn the placement of the statements. Additionally, because the statements are not
  17. numbered, it is good to learn where each statement appears in the ND. I will list a number in the guide though.
  18. - For closing arguments, I will be giving a general description of the picture on the panels, instead of the full text
  19. description. I feel this makes it easier to learn.
  20. - This is what I believe to be the best skill setup for Gentle, but feel free to change it up as necessary. It requires 98 skill
  21. points and getting skills from Free Time. Tranquility is gotten from the Monokuma pet, which could be useful if you want to
  22. completely reduce sway. Skills like Handiwork (Kazuichi) and Vocabulary are useful on Kind and Mean.
