  1. [22:44] {NARRATION} Thanks to the efforts of Taiga, Marceline and Pyrefyn, the Flesh Golem is taken care of. Somehow, it ended up just being the small Firebug and the massive Golem who reeked of blood. And yet, Pyrefyun prevailed, against hope. It was truly a spectacle.
  2.
  3. At the end of it, however, the Golem fell immobile, thanks to the fire that burned at every inch of it. Blood gushed from every wound, clearly whoever had created it had overloaded the thing with blood, and it's life force splashed against the floor and the walls.
  4.
  5. Marceline was out for the count, watching the fight half the time, after the Golem slapped her out of the air easily. Taiga found himself under some stone, but he's able to free himself easily.
  6.
  7. The Golem doesn't burn all the way, however. Bits and pieces of it are left over, and it's blood is still slowly coursing down the dias. The lit braziers reveal a door, on the opposite end of where they had entered. This one, thankfully, had a handle - but it seemed just as large.
  8.
  9. But thanks to the Golem's death, the party would notice some items.
  10. Some rubble, magically inclined, and coins.
  11.
  12. Can Marceline, Taiga and Pyrefyn please roll a d6 for me?
  13.
  14. [22:54] Taiga emerges out from the rubble, eyes narrowing as he dusts himself off.
  15.
  16. "...Ahh - what a mess we've made." He grumbles, clearly having come to his sense from that knock to his head. He's injured, clearly enough, but not so much so that he was unable to stand back up and fight. Thankfully so... as he wasn't finished yet.
  17.
  18. "A beast of that much blood... was precisely what I needed. Marceline... surely you remember." Taiga reaches into his cloak, pulling out a bright red bloodstone. It glimmers with a crimson luster, radiating a sense of desire so intently that even the Fae here could attune themselves to it like genuine emotion. Desire... and hunger. "Give me a moment, please. I'll be done cleaning up in just a moment... and we can continue onwards."
  19.
  20. Taiga might not be a biomancer, but this stone was something that could become far more potent when given the right push from an outside force, it didn't have to be his magic. Perhaps... it simply had to be someone else's blood. With it in hand, he aims to give a surge of magic through it, using the stones latent energies to draw in and vacuum up the blood that had been spilt!
  21.
  22. This creatures blood would be mixed with that already present, aiming to add to the stockpile of power beginning to well up inside the gem. Where once it held only a fraction of its true potential, Taiga aims to elevate it, if only a little. This beast, after all, was notable for the quantity of its blood, not the quality. But it was certainly a start on upgrading his relic.
  23. (Taiga Voss)
