MH- Devotion to Azrael is Key

[06:53:13] He would have left Cinderfall nice and early. He didn't want to have to rely on anyone. But the rest was really appreciated, and he took the long way back to New Alteros, and from there, he would happen to Antegeria, giving the usual and brief hello to Alexia before going back to his practicing.

But now his practice was different. He wasn't just mindlessly swinging the weapon. He would sit in front of the home, the weapon layed upon his lap, as he focused himself. Thinking upon the morninglord. Azrael himself. He wanted to understand these things he was seeing. Those things he was constantly experiencing. He needed to know and to understand, and to that end he pondered them day and night.

Much to his childlike fancy, it was like watching stories and reading the books he so loved, except now he saw them first hand. And through this he could avoid them when he slept at night.

[07:00:54] Reiji wandered in Nostvale observing the effects of the war outside of city. Creaters riddled the plains of Nostvale a show of what had happened in the war againist Loranthis. He activated his half shift before a salior came up to him and asked him to guard a ship to Antergia. Reiji had never been there though he'd venture there for some pay. They headed off as Reiji chilled on the boat. They were guarding a lot of gold which led to some pirate ships surronding them and trying to capture them. Though lucky Reiji was here quickly blasting one of the ships apart with multiple lightning bolts as a show of power.

The other ships went quickly after as Reiji called down a Lightning storm to eradicate those hunks of wood. He then arrived on Antergia and was paid for his services. He then decided to explore the island and not too far away from the port was Marcus one of Reiji's friends.

"Hey Marcus."

[07:06:52] He would have stayed there, but after hearing the voice, his eyes would shoot up, and the reika surging about his body would slowly fade. It was just getting to the good part too... some Oscuri were going to fight an angel... o well! Back to reality! "Hey Rei! How are you?" He would hop up from his position and look at his friend.

He was taller than he was, not only because he was older, but also because he was a drakanite. He literally and figurtavely looked up to him, "How have things been lately?" He would seem eager. And he was very much more well rested than he had been when they last met. Something had happened. But it was impossible to pinpoint what.

Best not to think on it.

[07:22:14] Reiji smiled as Marcus awakened from his meditation. He seemed a lot more lively than he did when they had last met though Reiji didn't care all that mattered that he was more energized now. Reiji knew Marcus was skilled in combat though if Reiji tried his hardest he could utterly thrash the Oscuri boy so Reiji would dedicate his time to training him. He then remembered something that Marcus had said when they first met. He wanted to learn more magic like fire magic.

"I'm doing good I've been learning some magic lately."

"Hey you said for me to teach you fire magic or lightning magic one day you still want me to?"

Reiji wasn't that experinced in teaching though Thom had taught him something about that after teaching him Lightning Magic so he could replicate the teaching though with Marcus.

[07:26:30] He would nod quickly, "Yes! Show me. I'll still listen! I still want to know!" He would be excited as he placed the sword onto his back, still looking up at him, "I'm a fast learner! Or at least I'll understand quickly..." He would sit back down on the grass that was in front of the house.

If he wasn't going to fight, there was no point in him standing up like that.

[07:34:11] Reiji nodded as he created a wolf made out of Lightning Magic. Thom had done this though with a monkey and he didn't think monkeys were -that- cool so he decided to make a wolf. He concentrated on it making it walk over to Marcus and standing next to him. Reiji was fairly experinced in Lightning Magic due to his training and experince with fighting with it.

"Touch the Lightning and feel it's power."

"Then replicate it with your reika."

The lightning wasn't so strong as to shock Marcus Reiji was sure of that it might have brought some pain though not that much it was mainly just used so that Marcus could feel the Lightning Magic jolt around in his body.

[07:40:09] He would do as he said and begin to do the same with his reika, beginning to allow it to flicker, trying to formulate it into something, but it wouldn't give itself shape. It would blast about, it would force around, but it wouldn't allow itself to be made into something. He would get frustrated, "Why won't it work?" He would give a stomp. He was hating the fact he couldn't do it.

And the Reika would surge as he got frustrated, "Azrael! Guide me!" He would slam his hands together and create a green dragon as he opened them, "Better..."

[07:46:08] Reiji watched in awe as Marcus bursted with green energy. He assumed this was his Reika at full power. Marcus was nothing short of a prodigy due to this as this was an advanced manuver since it was like using Energy Magic but for Oscuri's. He had researched Enegry Magic before and it was no easy feat to use it and for Marcus to do basicly the same thing but with his Reika was impressive.

Reiji was suddenly covered in Lightning as his hair stood on end flowing upward as the pure power of this lightning was amazing. He let the aura go causing his hair to flatten back down to it's normal style.

"You have to harness your Reika and apply it in a sudden burst on energy similar to the impulsiveness of lightning."

[07:53:48] He would feel the energy and the power moving through him. He wasn't a mage... but he was a magus. He would try to understand what he was telling him. He would charge the energy that he had gathered upon his weapon, letting out a wave of emerald energy as he swang it forward, "By Azrael... that's kick ass!" No one had ever taught him how to curse.

At least not in this lifetime.

[08:14:17] Reiji watched as Marcus had obtained a new power. He watched in marvel as he hadn't met an Oscuri with this power or at least one that had displayed this power to the Drakinite teen. He wasn't sure if it was effective in combat though he assumed it was since Reiji could feel the power radiating off of the aura. Reiji sat down and smiled. They were done for now Marcus had acheived some time of power even though it wasn't what Reiji was trying to teach him he gained something so it all paid off.

"Well you gained something."

[08:18:33] He would give a large nod, "Through my faith... I gain power! Lord Azrael shall guide me to victory! And shepherd the foolish to stand against us unto death and the ever hungry grave!" He would smile at him, "I forgot... O no... that was one of the Vindicators who said that." He would know. He saw him give that speech through one of his ancestors eyes.

It was their rally cry. And he would make it his own.

[08:27:56] Reiji sat down he was lazy and it seemed Marcus was getting into some phase. He yawned and then whistled very loudly before a giant black Direwolf came up to him and started rubbing againist Reiji. Reiji smiled and rubbed the Direwolf before hugging him.

"Hey Marcus this is Chaos my Direwolf friend."

Chaos ran up to Marcus and started to sniff Marcus before walking back over to Reiji. Chaos sat down next to Reiji in front of the fence since Reiji was lying on it.

[08:30:30] He would continue practicing with that weapon of his, whipping it too and fro. About here and about there. Every which way and every kind of way. He was quite happy in the way that he was progressing. Gaining strength. And most of all gaining experience. He craved it so greatly.

But he was still a kid. He saw that dog. A cute and not at all small dire wolf, and would pet it intently, and as he did, he would feel all its individual mana circuits, the energy and mana firing in them. It was cool.
