  1. I can't remember everything about my garry's mod story, so I will be getting dates via screenshots and going from what I remember. Everything will be really in depth at around the beginning of this year. I'm sure I will leave out some servers that are either too small or that I don't remember.
  2.
  3. Start
  4. Our story starts at the first known Garry's Mod screenshot of mine, on Triflux Gaming MilitaryRP. This was the first known Garry's Mod server I was on. Also this story starts around February of 2015, aka when I was 11 (or in 5th grade).
  5.
  6. I don't know where or why I got into Garry's Mod, I just started playing it. I first joined Triflux Gaming MilitaryRP. This is when I formally started switching from the name geckie123/geckie456 (the names I was using for the 2.5 years past that I was on steam, and my username for CWA). The name I used, was Brandon Bacon. I picked this because Brandon is my first name, and Bacon because I was young and I liked bacon (I still am young and like bacon), but I was way less mature and more impressionable than now.
  7.
  8. I was a pretty well known face on the server, got more respect than someone of my age normally would've gotten, and had fun. Last known screenshot was on March 17th, so i'm assuming I stayed a month or two then moved on.
  9.
  10. Next I moved on to Pie Gaming DarkRP. This server was huge for me, but i'll get into that later. It was a fun server, and I was with the community for about a month. I applied for staff on there, and I surprisingly got it. It was my first time staffing on a garry's mod server (I owned a few minecraft servers before, and they were decently successful). Pie Gaming died about a month later due to the map breaking, and because of no known fix, players started to get off.
  11.
  12. It influenced me in many ways, one reason because it was my first Garry's Mod staffing job. There I made good friends with the owner, named Piebody, who I still talk to to this day. Pie has taught me about everything I know on Garry's Mod (besides SWRP stuff) ranging from how to staff/how to use ulx, how to make jobs, categories, and setup a basic roleplay server, and even how to make maps for Hammer Editor. The only other person who has taught me stuff close to that was Venator (he taught me how to retexture models).
  13.
  14. Around this time I left for my first year of sleepaway camp, and also had around 1000 hours on Garry's Mod (from February 2015 to July 2015). I had started playing SWRP a bit before this, on a server called Red Spec Gaming. I'll talk about it in the next section.
  15.
  16. Star Wars Roleplay
  17. The first Star Wars Roleplay server I played was Red Spec Gaming (RSG). This was a Clone Wars Roleplay. I started playing around June 19th (I balanced this with Pie Gaming, but majorly played PG until it died).
  18.
  19. At this time, heavier roleplay was relatively new to me, as I just had played a non serious MilitaryRP and a semi serious DarkRP. It was hard making the adaption, but I did it (somewhat, as you can see I'm a mix today. Sometimes I super duper serious Rp, and sometimes i'm more in the semi serious area). About two days in, I spent $20 and bought Captain of the 212th Paratroopers. Looking back on it it was a horrible choice, as I only had around 3 days experience of StarWarsRp in general.
  20.
  21. In this server, I met some friends who I would be friends with for about the next 6 months. After RSG died (about two weeks after I got Captain) they joined a new server called Vigilance Gaming, so I followed them. The owner was this guy named Daft Cat, who me and him don't have the best relationship to this day. I was younger then and he would make a lot of jokes about hacking me and ddosing me, and since I was only 11 at the time, I believed a lot of the things I heard and took it seriously, and this was the downfall to our friendship (i'll get back to this later).
  22.
  23. WHAT I REMEMBER WHILE WRITING THIS
  24.
  25. I can't remember everything I did in VG, but I eventually reached the rank of Super Admin after a few months, playing on all the VG servers (HaloRP, StarWarsRP, Surf & BHop (which I learned how to develop). I had a mixed time, I had a really good friendship with some people there (Gold & Tupac [listed from above], Jarvis, Thomas, Nikita, and a few others). If you guys were at VG and any of these ring a bell, congrats! :blobparty: I might have met you.
  26.
  27. ONE THING I FORGOT WHILE WRITING THIS
  28. Made my first ever sever with Tupac and Gold and Piebody mid RSG/VG, it was a big failure but I learned how to make a basic server! Jobs/categories, permaprops, WorkshopDL, and other fun goodies.
  29.
  30. The name Sharp. At the time of joining RSG, I wanted my name to be Sharpshooter, as I was very into sniping. The person who was training me (41st Commander Woods, idk why I remember this) recommend I change it to Sharp as its shorted and easier to say.
  31.
  32. About December, VG transformed into Skyward Gaming (SWG). Same stuff happened, I cannot remember, but I left around February due to the problems listed above. At this time I made a new account, because the VN/SWG people kept trying to add me.
  33.
  34. After this, I made a ImperialRP called BTG/Bedtime Games. It was with my irl best friend and his younger brother. They were shit at SWRP, but i'll get into that later.
  35.
  36. This is where I met a few people on the server. I met Venator, and the former 104th Captain Hayden. Hayden ended up with Head GM and Venator with Staff Manager before it shut down (reasons later).
  37.
  38. It was funny when Venator joined. I recognized him and figuratively "sucked his dick". Gave him staff manager, but he was more competent then all my staff were dumbfucks besides Venator, Hayden, and Meme (a guy who is banned from PR). I eventually went off to my 2nd year of Sleepaway Camp, and the server failed because Venator was supposed to be in charge, but he had personal problems at the time.
  39. FYI: This server was my most successful, with us ranging from 15-32 players a day for at least 12 hours a day on weekends, and 4 on weekdays.
  40.
  41. Switching
  42.
  43. It died when I got back. I stopped doing stuff for a bit then I joined a server called Crix Networks off of Meme. It was a PoliceRP server. After a few days, I applied for trial moderator and applied for Delta Force (the most elite "regiment" or unit on the server at the time) and was accepted for both. This started my long career on Crix Networks.
  44.
  45. About a week later, I applied for Developer, and was accepted. I was the main developer, doing all the shit they needed (tbh I was a "configurer", doing jobs and such). A few months later, I got the rank of Head Developer. I'm not gonna list all the shit that happened at Crix, because so much, but i'm gonna list the major things that happened and all the ranks I had.
  46.
  47. Crix Ranks (some numerous times)
  48. Trial Moderator, Developer , Head Developer, Manager, Community Manager, Owner, N/A (I resigned for a bit), Trial Moderator, Developer, Head Developer, Network Advisor, N/A (Was demoted while at sleepaway camp for false reasons), Executive Consultant, then Manager/Executive Consultant, then I resigned/was demoted for false shit.
  49.
  50. In April I got promoted to the rank of Community Manager, then a few days later I got Owner, as the Owner was taking a break for a few months. I eventually resigned because leading a 500+ member community by yourself was hard (I demoted the other owners since they were massively abusing)
  51.
  52. When I got back from sleepaway camp, I found out I was demoted. I was demoted for "mass diss" when I told the Co-owner once he should kill himself, because he was a total jerk (we'll get back to him later). Also several people later admitted they +1ed the report because two things, one they were higher up guys and it would look odd if they didn't respond to that, and two they were sorta bullied/pressured into it. The only guy who -1ed in my defense got yelled at from about 5-6 higher ranking dudes and almost publicly shamed in the comments of the post.
  53.
  54. When I got back the owner immediately offered me a network ranking position again. On that community I had a bigger effect than the owners (more than that later).
  55.
  56. Basically I had long history at Crix. Also Crix in a way was how I met Riddick, Static, and a whole other fun group like Highlord Miles (mlg streamer), King David (mlg developer), Hetman Lerman (mlg dude), and a whole other group of great people.
  57.
  58. I bought the Advanced Lightsaber Combat System ($180) shortly before I was demoted/resigned from Crix, sadly I was never able to release the SWRP I was developing due to the fact that I had errors and ToBadForYou loved to not respond on gmodstore.
  59.
  60. Finally my demise at Crix ended in early September. It was partially my fault, partially the owners fault. The co-owner eventually demoted me for false stuff. One time in discord I said "I will expose you" and then he warped that into me threatening to expose all his personal information (I had his face reveal which he didn't want anyone to see) and because of that got me demoted.
  61.
  62. These next things will probably impact my reputation on here. These are things I think are justified, but also I think I took them too far. I was fed up with the false demotion, also people were constantly plotting against me behind my back, talking about me behind my back, and just overall being a dick to me.
  63.
  64. One of the very high ranking staff gave me forum powers (ban, lock, sticky, the normal shit) because I was still very active on the forums, getting about 50 posts a week (my all time high is around 100 posts a week). Eventually when I got fedup I unbanned a friend (Meme, who was from BTG and was banned from pr for massminge), and he helped me spam the owners face reveal. This also lead me to saying stuff I regret, which I will not state here.
  65.
  66. I am planning on appealing my ban in mid January since I think a 4 month ban is more than enough time. I will be asking for a staff restriction when I join. That is if the server is going up, but it's been running strong.
  67.
  68. So that ended my most successful career ever, anywhere. I ended up with more ranks than you can count on your hands, and a whopping 1881 posts on the forums in my whole time on Crix. My total career on Crix lasted from February 19th, 2017 to around early September, lets say September 9th. So around 202 days.
  69.
  70. I am also expecting the owner to come to my sooner or later as about half the staff team recently resigned, including the Co-Owner, Head-Dev, both Heads of Staff, and the Forums Manager.
  71.
  72. Project Renegade
  73. SInce Riddick and Chris were both apart of the wiltOS technologies discord (I was there aswell, I heard all about PR). At this time I was still with Crix, but I would leave about a month later. I joined the PR discord and joined PR the first day it launched, and have been here ever since. I have been denied from staff four times (being staff on other community, making bad comment about old community, not mature, no reason for final). I am currently applying for gamemaster and I currently am not giving up on trying to get a rank on PR.
  74.
