Hi my name is Jesse!
I am a Father, an American, a husband, a die hard Libertarian and a local game store owner! A proprietor of a store that is a bastion to hundreds of diverse people from all over the greater long island area, A Store of Fire and Dice. Recently my livelihood has been threatened (as well as my life) by a frothing mob of SJW types. Worst of all Wizards of the Coast has decided to terminate my store from the #WPN. Even now information is leaking that this character assassination was orchestrated internally from the company that i have represented (in a fun and positive way) for the entirety of my adult/ professional carer. Which then was signal boosted by a "Magic Celebrity". The first few weeks was par for the course it felt like living 2016 (the election) all over again. Waking up to death threats because of being in disagreement with my moderate libertarian beliefs or having people destroying my personal property by taking a stand against PC culture is not a new experience for me.
One week ago i took some time off, a real vacation. Something that is a precious piece of time to be cherished, especially to people that own small business. Your life becomes your work when your self employed, your success is only dictated by your drive, inherent to no man. Especially when your a single earner on a household that needs to feed a child, put a wife in college and care for your ageing grandparents. (not to mention salaries for employees who quickly become as family) your responsible for all.

During this time off, living in the woods of Wyoming, teaching my daughter the natural sciences in the glory of the natural world, a person with a vendetta against me for my political beliefs took some pictures of my #Kekistani flag, as well as a store poster with some dry erase marker on it. Passing it to a friend who "harmlessly" posted it on reddit. This action was enough to damn my store, sully my character and worst of all castigate a community of nearly a thousand gamers on the Island.

Up until this event, we have had minimal complaints maintaining a 5 star review on Facebook and google. (which any small business owner can attest is a biblical feat) After being doxxed on reddit and becoming a pariah to an unknown community of liberal hate trolls it became a stream of 1 star reviews and death threats. That was over a week ago.

Now a week had passed and no contact from wizards, no accountability for all the harassment i suffered, no statement on how to rectify the indiscriminate discrimination that my business and myself was suffering, all because of my meme flag. Like a man i took it in stride, sucked it up and continued business as usual. Hundreds of happy customers in the happy space that i had forged from my thoughts and built with my own two hands.
Then Monday after 6pm i had received a call that would change my outlook on my life and the industry that i so cared for forever.
A call that most of us that work in this industry are quite familiar with at first. "hello this is ..... from Wizards of the Coast, this call is monitored for quality assurance!
Wizards called to informed that our status had been revoked.
Why i ask?
The had conducted an investigation and found that our store needed to be terminated from the WPN...

For those that may be gamer illiterate the WPN or Wizards play network grants premiere locations such as mine the privilege to operate bigger professional events, and grants the players who help build that status up, access to receive product early via prereleases.

Can we know why? No. Can i defend myself? No.
Where can i reach out to? Who can i reach out to?
Not here, Not us. We don't care.

An inquisition of the highest order. Sin is found everywhere and your guilt is predetermined.

As a side, up until this day A Store Of Fire And Dice is in the 95% of Advance plus locations. (other wpn store owners will know what feat this is) Meaning our player demographic is large, events are super frequent and most importantly people are happy. But not to the seething minority of internet SJW. They see a community of white nationals that need to be sent to the gulag for reeducation. Their west coast Seattle troglodytes are happy to oblige.

This has been systemic for me here at the store, the WPN hates moderates, hates America and above all hates Trump. The attacks on my store have been persistent, each one taken in stride over the last two years post election, instigated because of my vocal favor of our POTUS. I was removed from the WPN Facebook group over a year ago for voicing my opinions on defending free speech at my location. Before that during the election i was investigated for promoting transphobia at my store. A witch hunt led by lady plansewalkers and judges under the employ of competitors. Well was wizards upset when they found out that our community is diverse! One of my best friends who is trans and an outspoken member of the local LGBT+ led the community in a stalwart defense. I will never forget what he did for me what he did for us.

There is no security in this anymore, even after my termination window is up there is no security that i will not be persecuted for my personal beliefs by the parent company again, I have spent a lifetime promoting MTG and gaming culture. I have earned them plausibly millions in my lifetime for wotc, recruiting thousands on players into the fun of MTG since the 90s. yet these last few years i feel that they no longer represent the best interest of players. WOTC is cannibalizing itself alienating core demographics and choosing Marxism over profits and fun. instead of being venomous they should ask the successful stores why are their players so content?

Enter Unsleeved Media, He contacted me that night. Asked me if i needed anything, he understood what it is to become a pariah to a community that you loved. He gave us a voice to speak out, and told are story. The petitions. The fundraiser. Its all been amazing a full 180", i cannot put to words all the great things that he has done for us. The last two days here at the store now have been nonstop phone calls from players and store owners around the US voicing how they stand with us! Positivity and solidarity, how they are tired of being alienated by WOTC. How PC culture has ruined their LGS and run them down.

There is so much more to come and so much information i am missing. It is late and the week has been stressful with little sleep. but rest assured that we wont stop, for when tyranny is law resistance becomes duty. Please call Hasbro Toys let them know we wont be bullied. Share our GoFundme, we have great plans to help cater to our Long Island community.
