Soon enough, however, the conversations grew deafening. A beleagured-looking Anna stood atop the staircase at the far end of the Hall and loudly barked, "ATTEN-SHUN!" in a strict military cadence.

The chatter immediately died down. Commander Anna could be a bit over-the-top and silly, but every Hero knew not to get on her bad side.

"Now, what in Naga's name is going on here?!" she cried out.

A figure pushed through the crowd, their white-and-gold robe billowing behind them dramatically, and ascended the staircase to stand next to Anna.

"Seems they've discovered Lif's little secret," the Summoner whispered in her ear.

Anna groaned and massaged her temples. "All right, everyone, listen up. Yes, our enemy Lif is actually Alfonse from another world. That doesn't mean our Alfonse is suddenly going to turn evil or that any of you are going to be corrupted by Hel. We're gonna be fine."

"She's right," added Kiran. "Alfonse and Sharena are upset enough as it is- there's a reason they haven't left their chambers all day. Do you all really think this'll make things any better?" They paused, then exhaustedly ordered, "Go back to your business. Oscar, Flora, get dinner ready. Jakob, make tea for Alfonse and Sharena...and me. And Lloyd...get me some of whatever it is you're smoking."
