- Welcome folks
- You are the Bruin Alliance A v A team.
- The game has picked you to fight in the a v a competition.
- You will be fighting in a set battle.
- The battle will be on map the size of the state you are in.
- It will be total desert.
- There will be a series of buildings on the map. Controlling these buildings will gain you points.
- Fighting and killing the enemy teams will also get you points.
- The alliance with the most points at the end? Wins.
- Good news:
- You troops won’t die like in the normal game. When the battle is over you will have all your troops restored upon return to the normal game.
- This is our first battle. We are in the 0/25% catagory- the lowest tier league. Our foes are in the same. We are new at this BUT so are they.
- So an overview of SOME of the buildings on the map.
- Capital- you take this you get big points; first occupation gets 10k- however... it’s arguably not as big as the other targets combined.
- Let them take it first.
- Teleport station:
- We need to control this and hold this. Everyone will have 20 teleports when they enter. Holding this building means we control their teleports (they stuck at 20- we have more)
- Belfry: takes a minute off the time needed to control other buildings. Useful. Needs to be held.
- Post: +50% March speed. Is bloody useful as it allows us hit them faster.
- Blockhouse: attack and defensive bonus plus life bonus for all our troops. Kinda important.
- There are others but these seem to be the core ones.
- The battle will last for two hours. It’s a marathon not a sprint.
- Opening advice:
- You enter the battle via event interface that appears on your screen.
- You will have a 3 minute prep time.
- *You need everyone to get in
- *you need to look at the map.
- *you need to identify your targets.
- There will then be a 3 minute warm up phase.
- *Identify who will be going after which target.
- *make sure you are all clear on who is doing what.
- 3 minutes later- the battle begins.
- Objectives:
- 1- teleport station (stations if there is more than one) control the stations you control teleports. You control their movement.
- 2- blockhouse get those attack and defence advantages.
- 3- belfry for less time needed and post for March speed boost.
- You need to focus on using t2’s to hit them. T1’s should be kept to defend really.
- After any skirmish? Heal up as many as you can.
- Stay calm If your screen goes red. Look up your sentry station- see who is attacking you and how long you got.
- Do not panic. Tell folks.
- Act don’t react.
- (If you are running around coping with what they are doing- change things by making them cope with you)
- Use false rallies to get them to panic.
- If you control the teleport stations feel free to ping around the map a bit.
- In the end restore your troops; focus on the little targets first and then the big boys.
- Always keep someone around the teleports (you can always rotate them).
- Don’t be afraid to regroup.
- Keep them reacting to you- hit and run.
- Remember- your troops will be magically healed and restored to you after the battle.
- And during the battle you won’t spend any RSS to restore/heal troops.
- Commander:
- All battles need a general.
- The general in this battle will be Brass_Balls.
- Why?
- He’s an alt. It’s actually Bad Company- Bruin minister.
- Beyond this however?
- Designate your rally leaders- all those practices will come in handy eh? Pick guys with experience.
- Talk to each other. Work together.
- We are letting you guys run this show now.
- We trust you. We believe in you.
- This ain’t FarmVille- so go out there and kick ass.
