↪ at the age of 7, her mother became shockingly strict. she was very particular with jiae's manners and movements as they often meet up with some important people from other companies. she was trained to act and behave elegantly. at first she hated the idea and was went strongly against it but she knew her parents' strictness was only for her own good so she stopped complaining after some time.
↪ until she was 12, she moved to los angeles, america to live with her aunt. apparently, she was the only asian at her school so she was often judged and picked on by the other kids. she was once called ugly by a group of divas from her highschool and from then onwards, she became really conscious on her looks. but she couldn't do anything to stop their malicious comments about her so instead of reporting them to the teacher, she used her grades and competitiveness to prove them wrong.
