- Considering I'm a throwaway, this is probably time to reveal the truth behind Black Ops 4 Zombies original intend plans. You guys really want to know what is behind the truth? Better plan to archive this dump too as this is a throwaway.
- Here's the truth behind them of what lies behind Black Ops 4 Zombies original plans before the Cold War takeover:
- - Originally, there were actually meant to be two Black Ops Passes, with 4 total free maps attached to them. First Black Ops Pass was "Chaos", with Alpha Omega and Tag der Toten being free maps attached to begin with. Black Ops Pass 2 would've been "Aether", with two free Chaos Maps attached.
- - Black Ops Pass 1 contains: Dead of the Night, Ancient Evil, Alpha Omega (Free), Tag Der Toten (Free), ZM_Blue, and "unreleased scrapped Chaos Map #4".
- - Black Ops Pass 2 contains: Green Run, Great Leap Forward, "Unreleased Scrapped Chaos Map #5 (Free)", Unreleased Scrapped Chaos Map #6 (Free)", Resolution 1295, and The Great War
- - There was NEVER a Zombies Chronicles 2 of the said Faithful Remasters in the works. That was never in the charts under Treyarch to begin with.
- - The Victis Remakes would've been the Victis Characters doing the pylons as a callback to BO2 Zombies akin to the Maxis & Richtofen side. This time it's Undead Richtofen/Primis Nikolai's scheming following up to the Great War.
- - Alpha was in the works before the launch of Black Ops 4, and it is considered DLC 1 for the Aether Story. Classified was DLC 0 while Tag der Toten was a complete rush job to get them finished during Black Ops 4's development.
- - The Tranzit remake was and I REPEAT, WAS PLANNED to be on Black Ops 3 Zombies Chronicles (https://callofduty.fandom.com/wiki/Cut_Content/Call_of_Duty:_Black_Ops_III#Maps_2). It's T7 strings and assets (Power Station, non-Blackout/Multiplayer stuff, Mountainy terrain vistas, and the Jet Gun strings) were built on the BO3 Engine and was finished, alongside Mob of the Dead, before they were ported into Black Ops 4.
- Die Rise and Buried were pretty much barely, but the Ghost Town was made only for Blackout, since there is model files for ZM_Buried map on Black Ops 4 in the files.
- - Mob of the Dead and Tranzit were the two completed maps and originally planned to be part on Zombies Chronicles but were skipped due to Zombies Chronicles primary focus on the main crew. This also adds Call of the Dead being skipped of Chronicles, because they skipped out on Celebs/VAs, which explains why Mob of the Dead was formed into Blood of the Dead and Tranzit was finished but got ported into Black Ops 4 as it's assets are finished. It all up on paying for the Voice Actors who reprise their roles into their respective maps.
- - As for Chaos, in early 2017 before the name "Aether" was sprung upon in Black Ops 4, the Chaos Maps had codenames when the maps were in-development. Voyage of Desire was (DLC 0: Titanic) and Dead of the Night (DLC 1: Mansion). Morocco and Russia were ultimately scrapped completely when Voyage and DOTN were in the works. It's clear that Chaos was more into mythical stories comparing to it's early ideas.
- - Grief was planned for Black Ops 4, as it was stated about it's mentions of being possible cancellation due to technical issues plagued, but the actually scripts of the gamemode are finished and can be loaded in into BOTD.
- It's said if you do compile the PlayStation 4 version of Black Ops 4, playlist scripts do have codenames listed as "zm_blue" and "zm_orange" as "Blue" would've been planned in Black Ops Pass 2 before it got the canned.
- - There's a theory why the ZM Codenames are "color-code" when ATVI-Shanghai (and High Moon Studios) took over the maps when 3arch was moved over to Cold War. If it wasn't for Treyarch taking Cold War over, "zm_white" would've been "zm_nuked", given there are remaining called called "zm_nuk" in the files of Alpha Omega.
- - The Great War was always planned, as there are textures and scripts relating to Crusaders NPCs left in the files, shown in the COD WIKI (https://callofduty.fandom.com/wiki/Cut_Content/Call_of_Duty:_Black_Ops_4#Maps_2). It was planned as the Grand Finale to the Aether Story but more details will be added on down the hole.
- - For Chaos Story bits, the bit of how Chaos would've ended it's story would revolved this sorta reveal in regards to Scarlet, her Family, and Allister (Scarlet's Father) It could be implied that Scarlet wouldn't been a human species of something, probably for mythical beings... Continuing Chaos doesn't even work, due to it's character narrative.
- - Alpha Omega and Tag der Toten were originally supposed to have full fledge CG cutscenes planned. Many said both maps got 2D Art Cutscenes due to budget cuts but never the case. Reality is that AO and Tag's scripts were written under a short notice of what it was originally planned. AO's outro seems to have bone structures of earlier scripts but anyone beyond were compromised.
- - Victis was not meant to appear in Tag der Toten as the entire narrative of the maps were changed.
- - Alpha Omega had a ton of Victis Elements that were thrown in the map (Russman Radios, Marlton in the door, TEDD, Elemental Ray Gun Mark 2s, Avagadro, etc.) as it wasn't planned as intended. Plus, to the add on the fact that the Round Change (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3reIR3Wvxk&pp=ygUeYWxwaGEgb21lZ2Egcm91bmQgY2hhbmdlIG11c2lj) and Game Over Music (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zrg8o1W_tgA&pp=ygUaYWxwaGEgb21lZ2EgZ2FtZSBvdmVyIHNvbmc%3D) you've been hearing in Alpha Omega was literally meant to be for TranZit.
- - Black Ops Pass 2 would contain the Three Victis Remakes and The Great War (with the addition of the two "Free" Chaos maps). Many theorized that Tranzit would've released between Alpha and Tag, which makes absolute no sense whatsoever. They would've released Tranzit at that point, as it would've been more finished and ready than Tag from a development standpoint of maps.
- - Ultimis Crew serves zero point in the narrative as they would've freeze to death in Tag's Cutscene and Victis back in Blood would be awaken from their chambers by Undead Richtofen. Everything between Alpha and Tag were written between a few months.
- - The Main characters in Black Ops 4's Year 2 Content for Zombies would've been Victis, Primis Nikolai, Undead Richtofen and the Main Villainy would've been Dr. Monty.
- - Now to breakdown into the Aether Story for it's core narratives for BO4 Zombies, the story goes that the cycle is broken and go to Alcatraz, where we meet Victis in their status, who would be woken up after their chambers. Primis Nikolai would tell us that the knowledge that he must keep his soul to fight in the Great War. Now for my opinion if this was the planned, it would've taken placed in an alternate Great War, where they defeat Dr. Monty using Primis Nikolai's Soul while Undead Richtofen would've manipulated Victis to help them along the way in the Grand Finale. This could've been what it was planned before the scripts were written shortly between AO and Tag, as to end off Aether with Tag der Toten under a bittersweet note.
- - For Tranzit, it was reworked just like all the BO4 maps, given that all it's BO3 Assets were ported into BO4. The mechanics alone would have improved the map and keep in mind that the Blaze Phase perk was made for Tranzit, given the open areas of the map. The closet being to Black Ops 4's Tranzit would have to be Green Run Productions' Tranzit (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IweuHSI1jDE&pp=ygUVZ3JlZW4gcnVuIHByb2R1Y3Rpb25z), a custom Tranzit BO3 Map that has BO4 weapons to them of what BO4 Tranzit would've looked like if the map did released.
- - Keep in mind that Black Ops 4's business model was releasing a Zombies map every operation. It's a drip feeding to a stream of content similar to today's live service games, but a big drop of content doesn't fit that endearment (seen in recent COD games like MWIII). So to keep this in mind of the finished product if all maps were released, if all the Chaos Maps were released, it would've completed it's story to close it's books and if all Aether Maps released, this definably would've been a big but closet thing being a "Zombies Chronicles 2".
- This is all I wanted to get out for now. I wanna warn that the HidanPrime Twitter account isn't very sourceful because there was NEVER an Dark Aether map planned for BO4 Zombies. This was what Black Ops 4 Zombies was originally supposed to have of it's planned lifecycle, but due to the game's turbulent reception and the Sledgehammer + Raven fallout of their Cold War game led Activision getting Treyarch to step in to takeover development to work on Cold War, leading the future of Black Ops 4 with a potential Year 2 + Black Ops Pass 2 scrapped and canned, the remaining skeleton finish off BO4's content, with Alpha Omega and Tag der Toten released.
- I do want to mention that the fate of Tranzit, Die Rise, and Buried are currently unknown, as from rumors say, they're finished but are currently under hold and waiting for a future entry, but let's say that Black Ops 6 Zombies for the Liberty Falls map is rumored to feature Tranzit Elements attached to them (and wouldn't it be funny if the Liberty Falls map was a Tranzit remake if it had a Bank, Underground Labs, a Chruch, and a Power Plant), whenever there's a reveal trailer for BO6 Zombies for the marketing in the coming months.
