Reasoning:
Jin finds himself caring for others more than he did for himself at times. Though the longer he fought for the city he could see they already pick their favorites despite Jin trying his best. This massive turning point in his character arc leading him to dragon island there he’d try to boost his power without the help of project red. Jin was upset that he wasn’t selected to be apart of the second group of people to receive the serum.

It made him feel like an outcast, and that said he didn’t want to be around people that didn’t want to help him. He had different hopes when going to dragon island, but that hope was soon — shattered as he was left to die, bleeding out along the beach by some Saiyan.

Jin in the process of recovery and clearly at rock bottom, there was nowhere to go but up. Jin didn’t know how his body would respond to the trauma, but hopefully, it adapts to its surround. Jin wanted to reach the power of Project red without cheating for it or having a buddy make it for him. He knows he’d never be accepted or a candidate for that Project, so he needed to find it by other means.

What is the moment:
Jin found himself being the only Saint that come to defend the temple when Mori tried to break in. Jin managed to keep the man away, but it wasn’t an easy feat to pull off alone. Jin wanted to keep the Saints temple secured from anyone that wishes to destroy anything within it.

•Jin, this time with a group of people, went to defend the Saints temple though Jin was the only Saint in the group again. He was starting to notice the lack of Saints that showed up to protect their home. Jin fought against Hare, and despite getting the bunny man to a weakened state, he still managed to recover fully and walk away unharmed.

•Jin zoomed around the city after hearing there was a demon invasion. He aimed to protect the none combatants from there wrath, and he did so talking minimal injuries, but enough for him to remain sluggish. He killed four of the demons before making his way to the final battle in which he Witnessed three people die at the hands of a demon.

•With the death of Kira, Jin needed to train the new Saint to call forth his Cosmos. Long didn’t want to teach then and declared that Jin was looking to replace a Kira before he was already gone. Jin was tasked by Kira to help the Saint unlocked his Cosmos.

•Jin ended his relationships and all tides with the city declaring he’d become stronger his way without the help of that stupid project. He made his way to dragon island in search of a way to force himself to become stronger than what he currently was. He felt like the city was holding him back from growing in strength thought upon arrival he was attached.

He was attacked by a green creature who managed to leave a few notable cuts on his skin. Jin wanted to remove a limb, but the Saiyan woman tried to make him leave the beach in which Jin refused. She fought right after while Jin was heavily damaged from combat and despite that that he only managed to slow her down a little. She left Jin bleeding outside, but he managed to escape in a battered state on the thin line between life and death. Jin would make her pay for doing that to him the moment he recovers from the near-death experience he faces on dragon island.
