  1. Mutual Funds
  2. Mutual funds will be a way for players to join together as a company and collaborate to manage a singular pool of funds and a portfolio. Being a part of a fund's management team will allow one to make passive income through the investment of other players. To start or join a fund, a player will first need to provide a starting investment amount of minimum 100x the average coin price. Once a fund is created, the player gives it a name, mission statement, and icon to represent them. Players can request to join the fund which the creator (CEO) can approve. The CEO can require new board members to own a certain percentage of the fund's shares in order to join. Discussion on what funds to join/recruitment can occur on the floor, in the global chat, or in the thread. The fund now has an initial pool of money that the CEO invested to create the fund. With this money, the board members can control the portfolio of the fund, buying and selling coins collaboratively just as another player. Mutual funds have the privilege of moving coins around much faster than a single player, with increased multicoin up to 50. The fund will then have an IPO for other players to invest in the fund's performance. The price of each share is a function of the total worth of the fund, the diversity of the portfolio, and the dividends provided by the portfolio. When a user buys a share of the fund, part of the money goes to the board as payment, and (a larger) part of the money goes to the pool of funds managed by the board. With these funds, the board members can buy more coins. When dividends are paid each Saturday, the total amount is distributed to all shareholders based on amount of shares of the fund held. If a player sells a share of a fund and there is not enough liquid in the fund's pool to give back to them, the balance will go negative and the fund managers will either need to invest more by buying more shares to make up for it or sell some of the coins in the fund's portfolio. A fund can liquidate itself and distribute the money in the pool to shareholders instantly. Board members will suffer a penalty if a fund is liquidated. If a fund goes into debt (negative balance with no coins remaining), the money to pay back shareholders will come from the board members' wallets equally (putting them into debt if necessary) and the fund will be dissolved.
  3. Why be a part of a fund?
  4. You earn passive income from the fee paid by investors when they buy shares in your company. The fee is in exchange for your services managing a profitable portfolio.
  5. Why should a fund have multiple members? I can just run one myself and get all the profits.
  6. You will be competing with other funds. Players will be more attracted to investing in the fund with better management.
  7. Why invest in a fund?
  8. Funds offer diversification and their capital is more liquid than a singular player, due to the increased multi-coin abilities.

  10. Seasons
  11. Seasons are a way to introduce the competition of a "restart" while not ruining the progress of the existing players who have built up large capital and stacks of coins throughout the course of the game. The idea is fairly basic: Players get pseudo-wallets that they can manage which are reset cyclically for a set duration or season. The transactional activities of the pseudo-wallets do not affect coin prices but they are subject to normal limitations of regular trading, e.g. cooldown and multi-coin. A season can last enough time to make good progress while having breaks in between, perhaps a month with a few weeks of break before the next season starts. At the beginning of each season, players opt in to join by paying a fee/buying a license to play. Each player then gets a starting fund of 10x the average coin price. Players can join mid-season but may be at a disadvantage (or advantage) from starting with a different starting capital. From there, the pseudo-wallets basically act as another normal player. The players trade in them, they get dividends, etc. As the season progresses, there is a leaderboard showing the ranking of all players participating. Then at the end of the season, prizes are awarded to those at the top of the leaderboard. Possible prizes could be a token system where more tokens are awarded the higher on the leaderboard you are, and tokens can be exchanged for special items with abilities, hats, etc. Special awards may be given e.g. player with most oshicoin, most diverse portfolio, most loyal oshicoiner, most non-profitable, and so on.
