  1. The Gut: A sharp blow to the stomach or groin causes nausea breaking the concentration of the opponent. This foe will no longer fight as they regain their composure and stance. During this time they are vulnerable.
  2.
  3. The Lungs: A powerful shot to the chest may bruise the lungs even through the ribcage. The bruised lung is ineffective and the enemy gasps for air unable to summon energy for the rapid pace of combat, and eventually expires.
  4.
  5. The Neck: There are two ways to target the neck for assault; the throat, or the spine. To fracture the spine is to paralyze or at least incapacitate the foe, this is very likely to be fatal. When the throat is crushed, punctured, or torn the blood quickly leaves the body resulting in death. If the practitioner wishes their enemy to live, if only temporarily, they may also use the chokehold. To grab the neck and create a sort of lock around the throat deprives the enemy of oxygen. The choke can be held until the foe dies struggling or more aggressively strangled to unconsciousness or further still until death.
  6.
  7. The Joints: Combat often ends when one party is too badly injured to continue. A strong or large fighter can reliably break joints inflicting horrible pain that typically leads to unconsciousness. Techniques can be applied to the legs, feet, arms, or hands. A strike to the legs or feet will knock the opponent down, resulting in overall easier combat.

  11. Zilirakith (The Eternal Wrath)
  12.
  13. An ineffective strike dissuades novice practitioners. This need not be so. Focusing on an area of attack has compounding effect. Muscle and bone are imperfect and enough impact will cause them to yield. Strike at the same area repeatedly, to break it.

  17. Zimeshabod (Phantom Strike)
  18.
  19. After a blow to the lower body, or groin, one can go to the side or behind the opponent. There, they have less ability to defend, and in the case of behind, total inability too. Strike at these opportune moments.

  23. A strong punch to the head has the potential to stun or knock out an opponent. This is not guaranteed but for this example it works. This technique requires a great deal of luck and should not be relied on in life or death combat, nor if you wish to capture them fully alive, as it may kill.

  27. Ostlurit (The Folded Spine)
  28.
  29. The enemy is caught offguard(viaZimeshabod) with a sharp blow to the neck breaking the spine and potentially severing the spinal cord. This requires a good deal of strength and luck. The result is paralysis, and even death. This technique is not recommended for nonlethal disputes.

  32. Thak (The Lock)
  33.
  34. The purest expression of raw power, taking an enemy's limbs and using one's muscle to manipulate them. This can take the form of throwing the enemy or twisting the limb until they are destroyed. An arm, leg, fist, or foot is grabbed and gripped tightly. This body part is then bent in the lock until it gives out, usually rendering the enemy unable to use that particular limb.. Mostly influenced by strength even a very skilled opponent can be defeated with a lock as long as the practitioner is sufficiently strong.

  37. Idrazoluth (Dog Combat)
  38.
  39. The teeth are an often neglected weapon in combat. The practitioner may find their jaws effective tools in situations where other tactics may fail to impress. There are two primary objectives of biting: inflict tearing damage and blood loss without a weapon and inspire terror in the enemy.
  40.
  41. The key to successful biting is choosing the proper target, biting a weapon hand, leg, or even the groin is more effective than simply gnawing at the chest. Idrazoluth has the power to immobilize an enemy, specifically the bitten part, allowing better and stronger hits apon the part.. Should the opportunity present itself a practitioner may even bite at the throat ending the battle in a single stroke.

  44. Sodel Ar (Shield of Flesh)
  45.
  46. With multiple opponents, it would be prudent to deal with one, but in dealing with one, you can deal with both. By grappling, and throwing an opponent at another, one can effectively stun and damage both, allowing for other techniques to be used.
