My free time - online

I am one of many Internet users and I spend my free time on Internet, because I can do almost everything on the Internet: chat with friends, play online games, read news, listen to music and write text. However, biggest reason for my Internet usage is communication with friends, what is easy, cheap and fast on Internet services, like Facebook and Windows Live Messenger, as opposed to text messaging, which is too expensive for me. This is also reason why I have Facebook and email in my phone. In addition I chat too different channels in Internet Relay Chat (IRC), what is old Finnish innovation.

I have got many friends from the internet, and I talk with them many times in week. I have saw some of them and even date with one girl, but this didn't go good in real life after all. Internet is useful tool get friends and make work, but it is also nice style spend useless free time. But also on the Internet have downsides. Biggest those is Internet addiction, what take much time in real life thing, like chilling with friends, if you cant control yourself and your time usage. And maybe I am addict, because I spend big part of a my free time on online.
