  1.
  2. [11:49] A keen eye might notice footprints scattered all throughout her room. Their source was from pacing caused by worry, but it was up to them on whether or not they'd figure that up.
  3.
  4. "What's up?"
  5. (Lemuria Augustus)
  6. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  7.
  8. [11:58] There was a lot of things that had happened, and although he wished he could have said something earlier - the death of Cornelia hit him rather hard and the way he had to handle the panic of the people..- well that was more then what he was used to. Deimos approached Lemuria and placed one hand on her shoulder-
  9.
  10. "It wasn't until he spoke had I realized it was him, but the man you had here before had broken a scared oath and tried to save a woman for her heart- but betray us all..." Deimos closed his eyes, he was expecting a slap at this point.
  11.
  12.
  13. She probably knew exactly what he was going to say. "Lemuria, I killed agni." He said bluntly, his hand now kneading her shoulder with an iron grip that was not letting up any time soon. It wasn't like him to apologize for anything- but this was different, if she did care - this would be the same pain he feels everyday - that he was inflicting on her.
  14.
  15.
  16. On top of that Deimos was suppose to be her friend.. how would he be seen now knowing that the hand stained with the blood of agni - so brutally was Deimos himself.
  17.
  18. The other hand would reach into their cloak and pull out a familiar hood stained with blood- a keep sake.. for her.
  19.
  20. "I'm sorry."
  21. (Deimos)
  22. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  23.
  24. [12:02] Her expression did not falter.
  25.
  26. It did not change.
  27.
  28. By all outward appearances, she didn't seem to care.
  29.
  30. "Why?"
  31.
  32. But when she asked that, her voice sounded hoarse. Weak. Barely above a whisper. As she slowly started to process it, all she could do was ask why so she'd have something to cushion herself once it all finally set in. Her first friend was dead-
  33.
  34. And by all accounts, her best friend.
  35.
  36. But what was really going on in her heart was unknown, even to her.
  37. (Lemuria Augustus)
  38. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  39.
  40. [12:04] Things were moving at a very rapid pace Phobos had no idea what was going on. There were names, actions, people he didn't know. He glanced to Lemuria quickly realizing that this part was specifically for her. That didn't stop him from being curious. He sought to understand this, this wasn't the first time death was brought to the table.
  41.
  42. He was tired of it! He wanted to know why did other people dying matter, what about it was sad, etc. Looking to the Augustus now, his features would shift into a slight frown. Not because he was sad, but because he wanted to fit the mood better. A placeholder.
  43.
  44. "Oh, jeez."
  45. (Phobos)
  46. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  47.
  48. [12:13] "I am part of a organization known as the syndicate, who fight for the liberation of the people of poverty - and the absolute abolishment of the knight impunity." Deimos would cup one arm around Lumeria's head and place her head against his plated chest.
  49.
  50.
  51. "The only way out is death... he was a traitor, and I had no choice- I do not apologize for taking his life, I do not regret what I have done, but I regret that you had to worry about it for far to long, That I didn't tell you sooner."
  52.
  53. He would simply stay in that embrace for a very long time in silence, of course the question would come up again - and there were some details he had to leave out until he was able to speak to her again.
  54.
  55.
  56. There was another thing that must happen, and although she had no physical trauma or even reaction to this information he still had given to her, but it was not easy for anyone when it came to death.
  57.
  58. "...." - His coral eyes would just watch the wooden wall for a time, thinking of what to do next.
  59. (Deimos)
  60. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  61.
  62. [12:24] * You have been awarded 1 Roleplay Points! *
  63. [12:38] "Well... isn't that funny? I supposed he deserved it, huh? What kind of idiot would betray the place he went to for safety?"
  64.
  65. Lemuria felt a sense of cosmic irony to the fact that the man had betrayed people multiple times, including both of his homes. The place he came from and the place he went to for refuge. She let out a cackle- a distinctly villainous one- thinking it was the correct way for someone such as herself to respond to this. After all...
  66.
  67. Wasn't she supposed to love such things? Did it even matter that it was someone close to her? Someone got killed. That person deserved it.
  68.
  69. "Keh... hehehe... KYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
  70.
  71. And she laughed.
  72.
  73. And laughed.
  74.
  75. And laughed.
  76.
  77. At least, up until-...
  78.
  79. "Ha... haha..."
  80.
  81. -...she felt a strange warmth trailing down the left side of her face.
  82.
  83. "...oh."
  84.
  85. Tears. Without even realizing it, Lemuria started crying. So oblivious was she to the nature of her own heart that she didn't even notice the sadness brewing within her. So when her mind didn't accurately express her real feelings, her heart took it upon itself to do it for her. It forced out the sadness, forced out her tears, and made everyone around her aware of one simple fact:
  86.
  87. "...I- I guess... I guess the writer changed the script... without informing me..."
  88.
  89. It was tearing her up inside.
  90.
  91. She didn't know she cared about him. She didn't know she cared about anyone. But she did. She was starting to feel it! And as soon as she started to realize that maybe, just maybe, there were some people that she genuinely cared about and didn't just want to use for her own ends...
  92.
  93. She lost one. The first one.
  94.
  95. The weight of the loss came crashing down on her, assaulting her with such a force that she had no choice but to lower her head to her desk, cushioning it with both of her arms. The weight pushed down on her back, her lungs, and her throat, forcing her to release the contents within.
  96.
  97. She cried.
  98.
  99. No... she sobbed.
  100.
  101. And she did so for a long, long time.
  102. (Lemuria Augustus)
  103. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  104.
  105. [12:48] It was a beautiful display for Phobos. He hadn't seen such raw emotion like this before. He didn't even know he and Lemuria were that similar. It was like he was staring at his future self and didn't even know It. He didn't bother to interrupt, not yet at least. This was a learning experience, and he wasn't going to miss a single second of it.
  106.
  107. The laughing was different, he hadn't seen anyone laugh at another's death. But he kept observing, because this wasn't even close to end of her feelings, as she went through the many motions. Viewing this gave him very mundane feelings in the deepest pits of his chest.
  108.
  109. He would write them off as feelings of excitement, but this was probably empathy. He didn't know that he would care, and the fact that he does is still a mystery. Yet he still watches to gain a better understanding of these emotions.
  110.
  111. '...oh.'
  112.
  113. There it is. His first time experiencing someone being sad, real tears. She was crying. That frown that he had made only worsened, as it became genuine rather than a ruse. He did feel bad, but he couldn't exactly pinpoint why. He didn't know their story, what went on between them, he knew nothing of it.
  114.
  115. What he did know was that this woman put forth effort to aid him when he asked, and she was under the care of his elder sibling. Despite not knowing of how deep his bond is it mattered greatly. He rose just as his brother did to aid in the support. He never understood the meaning of hugs, or why they were done, but what he did understand was the purpose.
  116.
  117. To sooth the soul, to mend things. It wasn't in his nature to do such, but when there's someone that matters and they're down it's only right to try and lift them. "I wish I knew what to say at this very moment, Lemuria. I'm sorry for being so clueless."
  118.
  119. Along with his brother he joined the young woman in the group embrace.
  120. (Phobos)
  121. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  122.
  123. [13:05] When it rains it pours.
  124.
  125.
  126. Perhaps this was the feeling he would get if he lost Lemuria- or phobos either way - it wasn't exactly easy to look at her this way- his eyes moved to the side and waited for her - cries to be at least to be - weaker.
  127.
  128.
  129. After of which - he would back off from the triangular embrace. "There are other things I must tell you- but I will wait until- you are.. stable." He said awkwardly. It was like he didn't know at all what to say he was the cause of this in the first place.
  130.
  131.
  132. A few steps were taken back now, as he looked at another person he hurt- and he started to notice the sad cycle of his actions, and it would continue until his goal was reached.
  133.
  134. Turning around and starting to depart without much expression or consideration Deimos would try to exit the building unless stopped. "Pour her some tea Phobos."
  135. (Deimos)
  136. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  137.
  138. [13:10] It took a while for her to calm down. But eventually, after what seemed like an eternity to her, she managed to calm down. It still took her a few deep breaths to calm herself enough to speak, but when she did, she sat back up. Her arms and desk were all completely drenched by the results of her own sadness, and her eyes and face were still red, but-
  139.
  140. "Chamomile, please."
  141.
  142. ...she had it in her to specify what kind of tea she liked, at least.
  143.
  144. "And for future reference... I don't like hugs that much. But... I guess I can make an exception."
  145.
  146. She paused.
  147.
  148. "I guess it helped a little."
  149.
  150. Her formal manner of speaking had completely left her for now, it seemed.
  151. (Lemuria Augustus)
  152. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  153.
  154. [13:16] "Yes brother!"
  155.
  156. Phobos followed orders exactly, and when given by Deimos he was even faster. He released the woman without question as he ran around the room looking for the tea! He was a bit uh, slow. For as much running as he did the tea was mighty close! "Oh..." He grabbed the kettle and poured a cup for the girl.
  157.
  158. Phobos himself didn't really drink so none was made for him. "Ah, I'll be honest I don't see the purpose in the gesture just yet. You seemed very down, and so I did what I know. We human beings are strange." Phobos went back to take his seat.
  159.
  160. "I am glad to know that I helped..!" Phobos couldn't stop his naturally cheery tone. It was pretty much all he knew.
  161. (Phobos)
