— BACKGROUND : Calla was born to her witch father and werewolf mother. Her parents fell in love, but both their species banned them from being together. They disregarded the warnings and eventually bore a child. Their families were outraged and had planned to execute them and their baby. As a result, they concocted a plan - with the help of their other werewolf allies - to escape to Switzerland, where they started a family of their own. Calla's mother had used various potions and spells in order to disguise Calla's eyes.

Surprisingly, Calla did not grow up sheltered. Her mother and father allowed her to do normal things like attending school and making friends. Her mother's cloaking potion and spells allowed Calla to appear as if she was a normal werewolf, since her magic was mostly dormant. Still, her parents raised her to be aware that she was a hybrid and taught her to always be careful. She was a very popular person and had many friends due to her personality. She did well in school, but didn't openly brag about her academical achievements.

Her magic side was mostly dormant throughout most of her childhood, but her powers started to stir once she hit thirteen years old. They had been at a picnic near a pond when Calla saw a dying lily washed up along the shore. Without thinking, she had reached down and healed the flower, eventually falling unconscious for several hours. Though her magic is relatively weak due to her werewolf overpowering her witch side, Calla is still able to perform small acts of magic. Usually, this takes up a lot of her energy and exhausts her for long periods of time, even if it's small.

Since then, her mother had helped her with that aspect of her life. Calla spent two hours a day with her mother learning how to control and use her magic. She was particularly gifted in making potions and was well-versed in the uses of plants. Her main ability was not obvious until the incident of 2009 (when she was fifteen).

Calla had been at a beach for her friend's birthday when someone got her very angry. The emotion unlocked her hidden ability and suddenly, a giant wave rose from the ocean and crashed into the people at the shore. The illusion placed on Calla's eyes also wore off and her status as a hybrid was revealed.

The werewolves and witches nearby heard of the news and killed her mother and father. Her father had bought his wife and daughter some time to get away with their belongings, but was killed by the alpha of the pack. Calla's mother had dropped her off at a nearby train station with a phone number and ordered her to go to Greece and call the number. Before she left to be with her husband, she gave Calla her spell books and her water lily pendant.

She went to Greece and met up with Aer. Aer was her mother's friend's daughter. Calla was supposed to meet with Aer's mother, but her mother had been killed shortly before Calla's was killed. They decided to stick together, but separated ways after four years as they thought it would be easier to throw the people off their tails. When she was 20, she traveled to Korea where she met Ignis. She and Ignis stuck together for a year before Calla once again left.

Calla traveled to many places, mainly places were the nightlife was very rowdy. She blamed herself for the death of her parents and drowned out her sorrows through partying. She eventually returned to South Korea to run away from some people hunting her and eventually met up with the other three hybrids. Other than partying, Calla also released her frustrations through art.

— PERSONALITY : Calla is outgoing and a social butterfly. She has a way of interacting with people and captivating them with her charms and the way she seems friendly. Her sense of humor is great and she always finds a way to turn a dark atmosphere fun and light. Calla - in the eyes of other people - can be a little careless or absentminded at times due to her love of having fun. She comes off as a bit ditzy due to her love of babbling whatever comes to her mind. Her deposition can be a bit overwhelming for others as she has no sense of personal space or boundaries. She's extremely open, loud, and can talk for hours based on any topic.

When it comes to parties, Calla is wild. Calla is known to be adventurous and someone who never backs down from a dare. She's competitive and never backs down from a challenge. Once alcohol is in her, there is no stopping her from doing stupid and questionable things. She's an extreme flirt - with and without alcohol - and she's a pro at flattery. She enjoys the thrill of partying and tries to go out as much as she can. Her partying habits are mostly the reasons why she gets discovered so fast.

One of the things people like about her is her ability to quickly understand everything. Calla is observant and alert of her surroundings and is able to see the bigger picture or the bigger meaning of something. People are surprised at her insight and how eloquent she is. Once they get passed her sunny deposition, they can find a philosophical, intelligent, and wise person underneath. If caught off-guard, people find that she's not as basic as she seems to be. Calla never fails to make people laugh with her witty comments and jokes.

Despite her carefree and uncaring attitude, Calla is very cautious. Her carefree attitude is a front to hide her troubled thoughts. After the death of her parents, Calla went through a time in which she was plagued with bad thoughts. She blames herself for the death of her parents. She thinks that running away from her problems is the best way to solve them and tends to ignore dilemmas in favor of staying free from responsibility and thinking too hard. She doesn't like being told what to do and can get snappy if someone tries to control her. She can be cocky and has an ego the size of the Great Wall of China. Her ego can lead her to being sassy and a bit of a bitch to people who think otherwise.

Calla can be the most eccentric person someone can see. She's open-minded and is cool with mostly everything. Calla is up to try everything and doesn't judge based on opinions only. She prefers to try something herself before she comes up with her own opinion about something. She expresses her emotions through art - something most people don't know about her. She sells and auctions her paintings under the name 'Aqhuala'.

Being hunted for existing, Calla's learned to hone her survival instincts. Her first thoughts when it comes to troubling times is to flee and escape. Due to this, she tries not to get attached to others because she knows that when it comes to it - her life comes first. However, always running and being alone has left a toll on her. She craves a close friendly relationship with others and although she's the life of a party, Calla is a solitary person.

Upon meeting those of her kind, Calla got attached quickly. She underestimated the desire of having a companion and ended up succumbing to her need of friends and companionship. After years of mostly being a lone wolf, Calla is unsurprisingly clingy to her friends. She makes an effort to get close to them and is very attentive to them. Her motherly and protective streak comes in the form of fussing over her three friends. She cares about their well-being and will do anything to protect them. She acts like a nagging mother-in-law and worries a lot. Calla likes to see other people - especially her friends - happy. She is capable of hunting people down and physically harming them in the name of the happiness of the only people she calls family.

Calla is the personification of "0-100 real quick". At the start, she's a smiley and bright person who is unnecessarily cheerful and a little boisterous and annoying. However, if someone mentions her height or even dares even think of harming her friends, she can easily turn into the spawn of Satan. Those on her bad side experience her sarcastic, biting, and rude comments. Her temper is short and she usually snaps very easily. She can either be your best friend or a total bitch who isn't afraid to insult you straight to your face.

Her powers are one of the few things Calla will never be flippant about. She's determined to be able to have control over her powers. At first, Calla was very adamant on treating as if her powers exists. But after getting a slap to the face by reality (aka Aer), she realized that in order to prevent what had happened, she would need to control her powers better. She spends at least half of her day practicing her magic. At times, she can get frustrated and get angry about the injustice of it all. This would usually trigger her powers and motivate her even more. She tends to stay away from her witch side and only taps into it if absolutely necessary. Calla practices a little bit of her magic every week or so, but she always tries her to best to create some potions. She reads her mother's spellbooks sometimes and pretend as if she's still there with her.

Growing up with the tales of what her parents did, Calla is a hopeless romantic. She dreams of being star-crossed lovers with another person and is hopeful about having a mate. Romance is one of the things she cares about and she's adamant of finding her mate. Calla shuts down the idea of not having a mate when it's brought up. Never has she ever lost faith in the fact that she might not have a mate. She believes that someone is out there who is destined for her. Her blind optimism is honestly catchy and she gives hope to the others.

— WHY SHOULD YOUR CHARACTER AND THEIR LOVE INTEREST BE TOGETHER? : Calla has always dreamed of meeting her mate. She's planned out her future with him and she dreams of having an epic love story that people will talk about for years to come. She has so much expectations and faith of having a mate. Calla believes that she will only truly open with her mate and until that day comes, she will keep all her burdens and troubles to herself.

If Alpha and Calla do get together, their relationship will be a bit strained. The two will clash due to Calla disliking being controlled and the Alpha being a dominant. However, they will still be able to fit well. The Alpha will be able to give Calla the support she needs and will take care of her when she isn't able to. Also, their bickering would be honestly so adorable.

— INDICATION : Being half-witch, magic is engraved in Calla's veins and this factors in to how she finds her mate. When she meets her mate, she won't know it's them unless they touch. The moment her mate touches her, her werewolf side connects to her witch side. Her ears would start ringing and she wouldn't be able to hear anything other than the sound of her mate's voice/thoughts. This only happens when her mate is in her vicinity. After the first encounter, Calla will start going through this every time her mate was near, until they get together.

— TYPE OF RELATIONSHIP : They're the old married couple who constantly bickers but are domestically fluffy.

— HOW DO THEY ACT AROUND YOU? :

  ~ Beginning: Alpha absolutely hated her. He hated how she was his mate and was rough towards her. He was always angry and made it a point to show that he disliked her and doesn't accept her as a mate. He was strictly business and didn't treat her as an equal. He treated her as the enemy and was ready to get rid of her.

  ~ Middle: The longer she was his prisoner, the more he got to know her. He got used to her sarcastic comments and sassy attitude. He also managed to catch sight of her better side - the motherly sunshine who was full of energy. He got a sense of protectiveness over her once he knew about what had happened to her. He was warming up to the idea of being her mate and was less of an asshole to her. The stirrings of his possessiveness makes themselves known after he sees how close she can be to other people.

  ~ End: He has embraced his feelings for her after bonding. Alpha realizes that she is his mate and his destined partner. He's kinder, protective, and he's a little gentle with her. Of course, he's still teasing and flirty, but he knows his boundaries and he acts like a real boyfriend. He's the definition of boyfriend goals.

— HOW DO YOU ACT AROUND THEM? :

   ~ Beginning: Calla's hatred for Alpha was noticeable less than his hatred for her. Due to him being her mate, Calla made an effort to get to know him and be nice to him. He made it clear that he was not interested, but she persisted until he actually hurt her (physically or emotionally, it's your choice). After that, she becomes more withdrawn and has not made any moves to interact with him.

   ~ Middle: Her sarcastic, bitchy, and sassy side seems to be permanent around him. Calla pretend not to care, but she's hurt at how he can't seem to accept her. She tries not to notice him when he's around and actually avoids him. She pretends he doesn't exists and instead focuses on escaping and catering to her other friends.

   ~ End: Calla is still hurt at their previous relationship, but she's happy that they're together. She's clingy and over affectionate. She's also more childish and demands cuddles all the time. Her teasing is toned down a bit, but she doesn't change her sassy streak. Calla is just as possessive as Alpha, but she prefers to show it by making sure other people know she's superior.
