A Guy In A Bowtie

A 'guy in a bowtie' is a name for someone with strong arguments and a strong understanding of the issues about which they speak but seems to be at some kind of rhetorical disadvantage (or something to that effect).

Tucker Carlson being the inspiration, the modern iteration of the political 'woke' left is a good example of a team with some kind of mesmerizing and paralyzing rhetorical advantage.
