An Apology and an Olive Branch

Today has been a very eventful day to say the least. But I think the main thing to take away from all this is that Disco Waffle was behind everything that divided us as a community. Despite his claims that he was trying to "avert troll war", he merely exacerbated the problem.

On top of this, I finally have my name cleared. I am not, and never will be the clevelandfag. He played all of you into thinking that, and I don't blame any of you for it. Hell, Ghost ended up falling for it at one point, it spread so far.

Now, enough about the source of the drama, it's not about what happened, it's about moving forward. And to do that, the first step that needs to be taken is an apology from both sides. We've already had a hand extended (not with a rubber glove on), and we are more than willing to meet you half way in that regard.

First off, I would like to begin with a huge apology for the means I used in our petty "war". Yes, I doxed Tison. I never should have gone to that level, because I became what I hated. I also tried to dox Dominus/Asriel, but I was unsuccessful. I deeply regret both incidents, and even if I seemed confident on the outside, I was constantly second guessing whether I should do what I did. Now that I understand the situation better, you were all merely baited into doing what Disco wanted, which was at the time of May/June 2017, attacking me, which was the main reason behind what I did. I hope you regret that as much as I regret what I've done.

Secondly, the "spying" on both chats. Let me be clear: we never had a dedicated "force" of people spying on your chat. I can say that for a certainty. Anything that ever leaked was a result of me going in on an alternate account, and me alone. And I'm sorry for doing that, but I swear that outside of using it against Disco, I will never leak a single thing again.

At the same time, I am disappointed that you all had an entire crew of people dedicated to spying on our server. I don't much appreciate that, but again, given that the screencaps were only ever used against Kush, I hope you will find common ground with me and never leak anything else in that regard.

And finally, when it comes to your ability to come in our chat: You're welcome to come back at any time. There's no reason to fight you anymore, and I hope you find there's no reason to fight us anymore. A deeply divided community must now come together as one, now that the main person behind all of this has been exposed and is gone for (hopefully) good.

I don't expect you to let any of our chat members into your chat. I don't expect you to forgive us immediately, or to be friends with us tomorrow, and I'm sure you don't expect that of any of us. But what we need to do is stop fighting, to drop the tension, as to become a community once more, like it was in 2016. Because if Disco was right about anything, it's that after Trump's election, we all fell apart as a group.

Regardless, let's move forward from here as capitalists, especially against these butthurt white nationalists on Gab. I hope to see you out there in the meme wars later this year.
