  1. Welcome to the ORAS NFE Elite 4 Challenge. Similar to the Elite 4 challenges this idea was stolen from in other tiers, you can challenge the ORAS NFE Elite Four. If someone manages to defeat all four members, that player will be crowned Champion. However, there is a catch similar to that of the main series games: Once a Champion is crowned, players will then have to defeat all Elite Four members and beat the Champion to take their place. Read the rules below carefully, since this fun challenge will not completely function in the way other similar challenges did. There is one big difference.
  2.
  3. On top of becoming overall Champion and being recorded in the Hall of Fame, the overall Champion will receive their own unique Discord tag titled 'ORAS Champion' in the NFE Discord (you can choose the colour), a free slot in the ORAS NFE Rotational Council for the next suspect we do, if and when that may occur, and my undying respect.
  4.
  5. Rules:
  6.
  7. The challenger must beat all Elite Four members to be crowned as champion.
  8.
  9. Challengers can challenge the Elite Four in any order, but can only challenge the same Elite Four member once a day.
  10.
  11. This means that if you lose to a particular Elite Four member, you have to wait until the next day (usually 24 hours) to challenge them again.
  12.
  13. Also, you must go undefeated against all Elite Four members in order to challenge the Champion. A loss means restarting the whole challenge.
  14.
  15. This whole challenge will run for two weeks, from the ... to the ... . If there is no Champion within the two week period, then the Elite 4 Members will be matched up against each other in a quick two week BO3 single elimination tour. The winner of that shall receive a unique role in the NFE Discord which they can name and colour (has to start with ORAS though).
  16. Unlike standard Elite 4 Challenges, this one has a pre-set running time of 2 weeks. Therefore, there are two 'win conditions' to be crowned Champion at the end of the two week period.
  17.
  18. 1) If you become Champion and defend your position as Champion for one week, the challenge will end and you are the overall Champion
  19. 2) If there is no Champion who was able to defend their position for one week by the end of the two week period, then all remaining Champion fights will take place and, out of the people who held the Champion spot at any point during the challenge, the one with the best W-L record will be crowned overall Champion.
  20.
  21. Since this entire Elite Four challenging process will last for two weeks, if there is a backlog of Champion challenges, they will take place after the deadline i.e no more challenges against the Elite Four can be made, but if you've qualified to fight the Champion, that can happen after the deadline.
  22. All Elite 4 battles must be BO1. Champion fights can be either BO1 or BO3, make sure you make that clear beforehand.
  23.
  24. All battles must be ORAS NFE (played in gen6ru). Check the resources and banlist to make sure you bring legal teams. Bringing an illegal team counts as an instant loss.
  25. Post after you win or lose a match with replays. This is required.
  26.
  27. Tips:
  28.
  29. Please do not spam the Elite Four with battle requests.
  30.
  31. Be understanding of the Elite Four's availability.
  32.
  33. Most importantly, have fun!
  34.
  35. You may challenge any Elite Four member you see online on Pokemon Showdown! or contact them via Smogon or Discord.
  36.
  37. When challenging a member, be sure to state that you are challenging as part of the ORAS NFE Elite 4 Challenge.
  38.
  39. Without further ado, here are the Elite 4 Members
  40.
  41. Crystalites
  42.
  43. NFE TL, 4-1 ORAS slot in NFEPL 3, won Ghosting Tour, good builder, good player, all around goat. Big fan.
  44.
  45. SBPC
  46.
  47. NFE Mod and Old Gens Head. SBPC has a better teamtour record than viper, which means absolutely nothing, but it's kinda cool I guess. He's a good guy.
  48.
  49. Monsareeasy (Arctic)
  50.
  51. The father of NFE Oldgens and one of the biggest reasons why ORAS NFE exists. Terrible meta takes but is a good player and builder.
  52.
  53. 85percent
  54.
  55. The 5-1 ORAS NFEPL 3 slot, the Ghosting Tour winner, good builder and player. Very solid.
