120 Cards FAQ

Q: What is this category, isn't this just 100% normal?
A: Not quite. It is not possible to 100% the game on normal as one of the costume pieces requires you to play on hard difficulty. Because of this, the category goal is to collect all the cards to get to rainbow palace and then collect all the cards within rainbow palace. Costume pieces are not involved in the run as getting all except those that require being on hard difficulty is quite dumb.

Q: Isn't this category sorta arbitrary?
A: Maybe, it's also really fun so w/e

Q: Why run this instead of 100%?
A: I personally am not a fan of the additions that hard difficulty makes. I believe that this run is a lot more enjoyable as a result of those additions being removed.

Q: Why are you playing the _____ version? (English/Japanese)

Q: Why are you doing every level twice?
A: I need 5 gold cards from every level. 3 are hidden throughout the stage, one is obtained by beating the level within a certain time limit, and one is gained from killing 30 enemies in the level. Doing all 5 of these in one run of a level is usually impossible, so we make one pass as quick as possible, and then pick up the rest of the cards in a second pass.

Q:Why are you killing everything?
A:See above.

Q: Why do you keep pausing?
A: Pausing allows me to check how many enemies I've killed in the level so far - an extremely useful tool, seeing as I'm too lazy to keep track myself.
