The land of Kohinoor, home of the mountain ponies, had known war for much of the mare's life. 13 years of going place to place, but it gave her time to refine her skills. Seven years after Kohinoor fell, Mulbelle found herself in the land once again, having been invited by Archmage Isosceles. Lower Amihan had changed much since she had least seen it- it was far more urbanized, and geared toward trading than it was before. And the New Roan banner flew over every important building.



The greying mare was where she was as normal, studying with a small group of other mages besides her.

Mulbelle would approachh the elder mare, armor lightly clinking as removed her helmet with her magic. Her long, starkly full mane would fall and rest in curls as he looks to her inviter. "Miss Isosceles, it has been awhile." She smiles as she bows her head in respect. After all, she had taught her plenty to keep her fighting all these years. "For what reason do you seek me?" She inquires.

Though she was hardly an elder, being only 48, the mare certainly looked a decade older by this point Gone was any sign of youth from her eyes.  "Miss Mulbelle- I hope that copper armor is doing you well. It was difficult to source the material, what with tarrifs on the labor of a blacksmith." She turns, waving away the other mages. "I digress.  Tell me, do you remember anything from when the Green Eye opened? You were but an infant, but..."

She sighs as she looks over her armor. "Its not Iron but....it does the job for now." She chuckles as she looks back to the mare. "Scarcely......I remember my mother telling me about it. That a tear in the sky formed and ponies from other worlds would fall from it." She shrugs a bit, armor still clinking in place. "It sounded more like a fairy tale than anything else....."

Isosceles started to chuckle. "Remember what Iron will do to your spellcasting. You're talented, but not that much." She offers, though grew more serious quickly. "Hmn, I assure you the Equestrians are quite real. Our King brought forth many changes to the New Roan military with their brain in the pocket, so to speak. But the obvious effects aren't why I called you in today. I called you in to talk about the subtle."

nods as she looks back to the mare, her face growing more concerned as she adjusts her pose. "What do you mean Archmage?" She asks, eyebrows raised as she raises a hoof to part her mane.

She turns away, lowering her head, making sure they're the only two that were in earshot. "You know the story of the Goddesses. The six broke apart Eris, the Chaos god, killed what they could, sealed what they couldn't, and made flesh what couldn't be sealed. Then the Roans-that is to say the First Empire-, did the same thing, more or less. Killed and sealed. To this day, /how/ the both of them did the sealing is unknown. The evidence for these remnants is flaky, but I have had experience with beings that...should not be." She hmns. "I've been seeing strange things as late. It's only a theory but I think those seals are weakening."

Mulbelle looked rather shocked as she listens in, eyes widen but still skeptical. "That seems very far fetch." She replies as she adjusts herself, placing her helmet down as she looks back to the mare. "I have heard all these stories when I was a little filly.....but they were just stories to me...."

Isosceles shakes her head lightly. "Mise is thought of as a consort to Eris in the mythos, but I've met her personally. I assure you, these things do exist. But..." She sighs, rubbing her temple. "I'm not at liberty to leave if I want to keep the fountain of knowledge alive in Kohinoor. I think ever since the Green Eye opened, the seals have been weakening gradually, and now are finally cracking. You're at more liberty to travel than I am...I just need to think of a place for you to start looking, to see if the seals are real and if they are, infact cracking."

Mulbelle nods as she looks over to her gear. "You trained me and helped me survive the war.....It would be my pleasure to act in your stead.....I just hope I remember all that you said." She chuckles as she adjsuts her weapon. "How goes the Arcanum here? Things here look alot livelier than I remember it last...."

Isosceles smiles just a small bit. "You'll be fine as long as you don't try to tussle with timber wolves, again." She replies wryly. Still, she shuffles back to that serious demeanor of hers. "I can't be the only one to have noticed the oddities. Magic not working just as it should. Shimmers in leylines. All concerning." She mumbles. "I think you could try Arcane Alley in Palo Alto. You're not a New Roan citizen, but I can give you a letter before you leave that will allow entry."



She pauses for some time, trotting out of the window to look at the city around her. "Arcanite mining and refining is in full swing here. Gone is the quiet town I came to." She remarks, with stark emotion.

Mulbelle sighs but nods as she straightens back up. "You said you would never bring that up again....I had that handled." She retorts but shakes her head. "Arcane Alley in Palo Alto....got it. Ill write to you once i find anything concrete." She adds with a firm nod. "Times are changing....and it seems its not always for the best."

Writing the letter in a haste, she floats the parchment over to the knightly mare. "It's a long shot, and to be honest with you, I might well be sending you halfway around the world for nothing. But...do this for my blood pressure, would you?" She dryly laughs, shifting to sit down. "It is for the best. Kohinoor, before you were born, was a torn and austere land. Now look at it. I was simply musing that it's nothing like what I came into."

Mulbelle takes the letter and shoves it into her breast pocket with a smile. "Dont worry. I could use a vacation from constant wars.....and who knows, maybe something exciting will happen and ill get a chance to keep myself sharp" She winks as looks over to the docks. "Hopefully it stays that way longer for me to get use to it then."
