Now, the way these work is that they're like pinchers- they'll all have 'ENCRUSTACEAN' as their tag- 'ENCRUSTACEAN12345' or whatever- but they come in three sizes, small, medium, and huge.

VERBOSE: Barely bigger than a single sovereign, this little crab is a mottled brownish-green colour, its roughly round shell rocky with the mineral deposits that give these creatures their name. The encrustacean has six spidery legs and a pair of delicate pincers which are constantly in motion, flexing or picking at things.

Spawn about 10 in the area, scattered around the BEACH, NATURAL UNDERGROUND and HILLS terrain types. They're not very strong. Like a tiny pincher really. They wander about slowly.

VERBOSE: This hard-shelled encrustacean, with its mottled brownish-green carapace and spidery legs, is about a hand's length across. It has tiny, beady eyes and rugged claws which pinch and pick at nearby objects. The crab's back is uneven and rocky, covered with the mineral deposits from which the creature's name has been derived. Here and there, bits of the brownish surface have chipped away to reveal the lime green gem beneath, marbled through with veins of yellow.

Spawn about 5 of these around the BEACH, NATURAL UNDERGROUND and HILLS areas. They're medium strength, but still nothing formidable. Like an ugly or giant ugly pincher. They'll wander about slowly.

SHORT: a monstrous encrustacean

VERBOSE: Easily the size of a large dog, if not bigger, this monstrous encrustacean is clearly both formidable and ancient. Its back is rough and rocky, sharp mineral protrusions rising in clusters which gleam wetly in the light. Here and there, pebbles and even small fossils are visible, embedded in the stony surface that covers this crab. Its beady black eyes watch the surroundings carefully, and its massive, heavy pincers constantly snap and pick at objects nearby. Though its back is the most obvious deposit of rocks and mineral, the entire body of the encrustacean has a coating as well, giving it a muddy brownish-green hue and a strong natural armour.

This is the big momma encrustacean. She isn't an aggro mob, but she'll fight back if hit. She spawns in BANESBAY75 and doesn't leave it unless she's chasing someone who's attacked her. She is quite strong, like a boss battle for the area. Make her too strong for people below, say, lv. 50 or so.
