  2.
  3. Thank you for purchasing the official DJT™ Core10k JinJoyo DLC (Collector's Edition)! All of our profits are directed towards providing psychological aid to those who have fallen before Dekinai-chan on their delusional quest of learning Japanese.
  4.
  5. This deck, comprised of 1499 cards, assumes you have already gone through all of "Core 2k_6k_10K Further Optimized", which you can find in the Cornucopia of Resources in the guide.
  6.
  7. While Core10k covers 1978 Jouyou/Jinmeiyou kanji (plus 113 Hyougai), the JinJoyo DLC covers ALL the remaining 1024 kanji officially recognized by the Japanese government as part of their Jouyou, Jinmeiyou and Jinmeiyou Variant kanji lists as of August 15th, 2018. Be sure to check Wikipedia for missing new kanji in the future.
  8.
  9. CONTENTS:
  10. 001 - Jouyou Grade 5
  11. 006 - Jouyou Grade 6
  12. 177 - Jouyou Junior HS
  13. 077 - New Jouyou
  14. 551 - Jinmeiyou
  15. 212 - New Jinmeiyou
  16. 040 - Hyougai (most part of words that include jouyou/jinmeiyou)
  17. --
  18. 0261 - Total Jouyou
  19. 0763 - Total Jinmeiyou
  20. 1064 - Total new kanji
  21.
  22. Furthermore, cards are tagged by kanji type, so you can filter out groups you don't want to learn. They are the following:
  23. joyo, jin, jinvar, hyougai
  24.
  25. (Cards tagged "hyougai" are variant forms of some Jouyou or Jinmeiyou kanji, and are in the deck because at some point Kanji Grid [more below] told me they were part of the JLPT list. There are only 8 cards with that tag, so shut up and learn them too.)
  26.
  27. ABOUT THE CARDS:
  28. - The words included in JinJoyo DLC are NOT part of "common words" frequency lists, because some of these kanji are very rare/useless/specific. Example: 蚕業
  29. - However, KWAT (Kanji Word Association Tool) was used in order to generate wordlists based on frequency, meaning the most common words using those kanji were chosen whenever possible;
  30. - Proper names were avoided to my best, but there are a few ones;
  31. - A dozen or so Jinmeiyou kanji that didn't have any words associated with them on dictionaries (believe me, I looked) were deliberately turned into words by me using their meanings and readings as reference. Example: 晟ん(盛ん). But remember, it's your fault for wanting to learn this obscure shit no one cares about;
  32. - Sample sentences are almost entirely extracted from Jisho (Tatoeba), Weblio or WebSaru, but some were translated to English by myself from Twitter, Yourei.jp, etc. I did my best!
  33. - Audio was extracted from Yomichan or Forvo where possible, with a few ones pronounced by myself (I checked the pitch accent, but who knows?);
  34. - Some cards are just recycled from Core10k itself, since they're kanjified or variant forms of words you've already seen on the deck;
  35. - Don't trust the field "Index", it was used by me just as a control tool as I added new cards. Use the tags instead.
  36.
  37. ABOUT KANJIGRID:
  38. The available addon is outdated and can't even recognize/display some Unicode ranges as kanji. Here's a pastebin that corrects both JLPT sorting and the detection problem (fixed by two DJT anons).
  39. Kanji Kentei sorting is still messy, but I added 600+ missing kanji to it anyway:

  41. (If you downloaded the zip, just get the file from there and shove it on your Anki addons folder.)
