Bio:
Vanessa was born into a travelling circus, her parents being the star act of the show. Because of this she never stayed in one location for long, seeing every corner of the world and although in some places they weren’t treated kindly she still loved every second of it. It wasn’t long until she was in the acts herself and she took to it like a fish to water.

The feeling of being up on that stage and being watched by everyone gave her sense of euphoria that she had never felt before. The thing she loved most was the magic, the troupe had a magician travelling with them and she quickly attached herself to them as an apprentice. She didn’t have much in the way of natural talent in this area but she threw herself into her practice.

She eventually took her talents to the stage, creating light shows for the audience alongside her master. Her own magic wasn’t that impressive, especially compared alongside her master but still it was popular enough. As the act developed she even started to add archery into the performance, even beginning to write her own choreography for it.

After awhile she tired of doing it alongside her master and asked to have her own solo performance. She was denied, the head of the troupe saying she did not have enough experience yet. Vanessa was not happy, she knew she could do this. After a few months of being denied she eventually decided to head out on her own, start her own performance act and come back when she was famous. She packed up the few belongings she had, saying goodbye to her parents and the family that she knew and head out to find her own destiny.

As she left her circus however she quickly realised that despite all of her bravado she didn’t actually no much about surviving away from her family. Not many towns would even let her perform and the ones that did did not get much money. In some places she was even accused of stealing and without her troupe to protect her she was ran out of town. She began to miss her family although she was too proud to try and find them again.

Eventually she had had enough, it was lonely on the road alone and she hadn’t been as successful as she thought she would be. So in order to gain some travelling companions she joined up with a mercenary group as it was passing by her area. Even though it wasn’t her desired profession it was a lot better than travelling alone and she managed to make friends with a lot of the other people in the group. Her talents with magic and the bow turned out to be useful in battle as well, it didn’t take too much effort to turn her performance into a deadly one.

When they were actually offered the job from King Himos Vanessa was ecstatic, this was the perfect opportunity to spread her name and to have everyone know her. Then who wouldn’t want to see her perform on the grand stage.
