Realization

He ended up not heading towards the infirmary, though perhaps against his better judgment. He was going to need to learn to live with the pain, just as he had learned to live with the nightmares back when that was a thing. If nothing else had had the ability to adapt to horrible things being brought onto him. Still that thought didn't make the pain go away.

He stopped in the halls as the burning sensation in his blood was still very much alive, though he had managed to calm himself sense the event. Even still it was difficult to function with the sensation. It had caused him to stop and place a hand on the wall as his free hand would grab at his chest, his breathing picking up as though trying to cool himself off. "Damn, so much for it being quick." he would complain out to himself in a hushed voice. At this point just knowing he would have to go through something like this again was a bit frustrating. He had hoped to just get it done to save him some pain. As though that would ever happen.

In truth he had decided to work his way towards the infirmary to not go inside, but instead wait outside for some one to be taken care of. As luck would have it he wouldn't make it in any sence of a timely fashion, perhaps that was what caused him to take note of her out side. "Sophia?" it was a guess really, but his luck had an odd way of leading him to who he  was looking for. "Well, you're up and about again, that was a quick recovery." Though with how much pain he was in his sence of time was all but gone.

Groaned quietly as she snuck out of the infamary after waking up, not wanting to be treated by local healers who lacked knowledge of her state. With her body partly recovered she dragged herself out into the main wing of the Nostvales castle just before spotting Cutler, sighing as he heard her, forcing her to curse quietly before rolling her eyes and exhaling loudly.

Her eyes locked on the man, annoyed and frutrated as she soon responded with still exhusted tone.  "It is me...I am quick because its not rally a problem...I am mutating on purpose...so for me...what happened was nothing more but...another stage...what about you...how are you holding up?" she asked, somewhat concerned ofhis state, just as she held her hand on her stomach, feeling asi t kept twisting and changing rapidly.

He would let out a sigh as he pushed himself from the wall to stand back up straight, though despite appearances he still felt like he was on fire. "I'm alive, though the tingly feeling of being on fire I could do without." The whole mental and physical abuse was getting a bit tiring though.

"I wasn't all that worried about you though, from what I remember hearing not many people where ever all that worried about you." He was curious if she did remember him at all. Though it may have been unlikely, he spent most of his time in the dawn, not actually at the dawn, ironically enough. He was curious about her mutation, though another part of him chose not to pry, seeing as how it was likely he was going to become twisted himself anyway. Though perhaps it would not be such a bad thing to try and hold onto a part of himself.

"I never got an answer, this guy Clio spoke of, Charlie I think was it? Who exactly is that?" Bragi had opted to not share the info unfortunately. Yet some how it seemed the key to this whole thing was being left out of the loop about what could ruin the whole thing.

she chuckled in response, clearly understanding how Cutler felt, with her own stomach feeling as if t was going to burn her from inside. She exhaled loudly before deciding to respond to him with clearly enthusiastic tone, sharing her little secret with him.

 I know how it feels, its annoying but also oddly exciting, the fact your body...no...you are changing to someone or sometihng else, its...intoxinating really. I was hesitant at first...but beleive me...its a good change." she chuckled loudly before tilting her head before adding.  "In Dawn no one really cared, ah the crap with the Goddess and everything...all for themselves, careless and hostile..." she said with her voice clearly filled with hatred and anger.

Upon final question her eyes narrowed just as she shook her head, soon addressing Cutler. "Charlie Avaline is one of the oldest and somewhat selfish and known for her experiments...Clio doesn't like her family due to some tentions...but this question is towards Clio and others, I am still too fresh here." she replied bluntly.

"Not sure about that but at least you're positive." He would say with a faint smile, through it was forced through the pain more than anything. Still it was nice to see a familiar face once and again. Though it was certainly a rare thing these days. If this change was a good thing however, he was unsure if he agreed. "Some one has to do it yeah?" He was unsure what her thing was but, it didn't matter to much, most things that existed anymore where at heart twisted so what was another one in the end?

"People in the Dawn cared." He would argue with out much thought to it. "Well, a lot of them did, most where swept up in an idea mostly, really I don't think it was ever really about the goddess for most people." It certainly wasn't for him. Though he would not stay on the subject very long all things considering.

"I have the feeling a part of Clio kind of hates me right now." He would admit, though that part of her was likely the one that wanted him to be some one else all together. "Don't imagine she would tell me much of anything any more." That was likely untrue, but it at least made him feel a little better about the whole thing, in a weird way. "Still good to know the name, I'll keep my distance. I'd rather not be a full on lab rat for strangers. I think I'm a one and done kind of guy."
