- Lore:
- Quelaag once lived with her mother, the Witch of Izalith, and her siblings in the ancient city of Izalith. after the Flame of Chaos incident, all but her sister Quelana were transformed into nefarious demons. - Damage from lava or magma continues for 1d3 rounds after exposure ceases, but this additional damage is only half of that dealt during actual contact (that is, 1d10+6 or 4d10+23 points per round). This damage occurs at the start of the targets turn.
- An immunity to fire serves as an immunity to lava or magma while a resistance to fire serves as a resistance to lava or magma - lava or magma damage is otherwise unable to be reduced. However, a creature immune to fire might still drown if completely immersed in lava (apply Drowning).
