  1. My choosen song is ‘yu’ll never walk alone’, it’s written by the supporters of liverpool,
  2. The first reason that made me attached to this song is its lyrics, The story of the song and its association with Liverpool the team and the city, the simplicity of the words used and the calm melody in this sacred song is noticeable and outstanding which make the song more beautiful to hear and learn specially for a foreign supporter,
  3. The second reason of my choice is the manner of singing and as we can see in the anfield stadium, the entourage become quiet and all the supporters from different generations stand up and start singing from the deep of their hearts which make the lyrics more expressive and alive.
  4. Truly, before many games Liverpool fans "go through the motions" with the song, but on the occasions when it is sung properly (at big games, on anniversaries of the Hillsborough Disaster) it seems to sum up everything about being from Liverpool and supporting the club. It's about dignity, loyalty, defiance, love, community - basically all the positive aspects of the human character
  5. In this chant, there are some figures of speech that use repetition
  6. the first one is an alliteration :
  7. sweet silver song
  8. it means the repetition of the same sound in a group of words "s"
  9. the second one is an anaphora which is the repetition of words at the beginning of consecutive sentences :
  10. Walk on through the wind
  11. Walk on through the rain
  12. the last one is :
  13. walk on, walk on
  14. its simply the repetition of the phrase "walk on"
  15. figures of speech based on repetition are very used in music because ...
  16. Considering all those parameter, i think that you should try to listen to this song so i can see if everybody share the same opinion with me.
