- ⚠️ Why the “Wall of Shame” was removed:
- 1. Public Shaming = Harassment Potential
- Even if someone broke rules, publicly humiliating them creates a toxic culture, not accountability.
- Discord’s own Community Guidelines discourage harassment or targeted shaming — this could risk reports and server strikes.
- 2. False Accusations Happen
- Someone could get posted unfairly due to a misunderstanding or mod error — and once it's public, the damage is done.
- Screenshots can be doctored. Mistakes go viral fast.
- 3. You Lose Control of the Tone
- Other users may pile on, turning it into bullying or personal attacks.
- Your mod team has to constantly babysit the tone, which is exhausting.
- 4. It Damages Our Brand
- You’ve built a respectful, community-first space.
- A "Wall of Shame" undermines professionalism — especially if devs ever check out the server.
- It can turn away future collabs or sponsors who don’t want to be associated with public humiliation tactics.
