- Description: Norman was working the night shift at the 7-11, when Herring decided to rob it. Not wanting to leave any witnesses, he then shot Norman 3 times, including once in the head. In asking for the electric chair, the prosecutor reminded the jury of what Herring told a parole officer that Norman: “got what he deserved for trying to play here; now there's one less cracker."
