58. Dr. Kersey is going about living his life, until one dreadful day. Paul Kersey's family is endangered, Dr. Kersey swears revenge upon those who had wronged him, and from there everything changes. He will do anything in his power to make sure these anonymous men pay.
 59. Dr. Paul Kersey is an experienced trauma surgeon, a man who has spent his life saving lives. After an attack on his family, Paul embarks on his own mission for justice.
 60. Fact: Since The Sixth Sense, in 1999, Bruce Willis has been in over SIXTY different movies and TV shows. SIXTY in less than 20 years!! Challenge -- Other than Die Hard sequels, name more than 6. Harder yet, tell me what those 6 are about. It's difficult. Why? Not because we don't like him -- We do. It's because of the projects he picks. He used to pick memorable projects to work on. Lately, almost everything he does is very forgettable.

I wanted to like this movie. I tried to like this movie. It was like Hollywood didn't want me to like it. If it was even somewhat passable, I would've gone with it just because I really, really wanted to... but I couldn't.

Death Wish was killed by a bad script. Plain and simple. There was nothing believable about it. It was so bad, the acting could not revive it. You could tell the actors were doing the best they could with what they had. There was no one to like and no one to hate. You didn't know the good people well enough to root for them; you didn't know the bad guys -- At All -- enough to hate them. The whole thing was very forced. It seemed like it was written by a drama student. There was nothing complex about it at all. It was very "paint by numbers." Insert family schmoozing here, put bad guy there, place weird, insignificant brother there, clichè here, throw in a non-believable job and action sequence, blah blah blah. Like it was written in a day or two and no one edited it. A teenager could've written a better script for a class project. How this ever made it to Bruce Willis and Elizabeth Schuh's desk is bizarre.

There was nothing believable about the entire movie. The relationships, the way he tracked down the bad guys, they way he learned to shoot or even get a gun, the way he eluded the overly simple-minded cops, the way he got information. It was just all too neat and easy.

On a plus -- There were a few decent action scenes and Willis did try to act his way out of this. He couldn't though. Willis' project picker has gone bad. This was yet another stinker that he appears to be walking through for another paycheck. It may entertain for a short while, buy you'll forget about it in just a day or so. It's going to be lumped into the pile of other forgettable stuff he's done over the last 20 years. Come on, Bruce! I really, really want to like your work. Pick better stuff.
 61. Going into the theater, my hopes were high for this movie. I am pleased to report that this reboot exceeded my expectations ten fold. It's deep, personal, downright violent. But it does get its point accrossed too. Great moment in this movie we're Bruce's character exacting his revenge even though he has no idea how to. Makes you feel like your his character. Charles Bronson would be proud of Bruce Willis filling his shoes
 62. But the real problem is that the picture feels padded. There are endless, and pointless, scenes of radio hosts debating the vigilante violence. And the wildly mismatched shoot-outs — every criminal Kersey goes up against is slow, stupid and a lousy shot — waters down the thrills.
