Europe for seven years before settling in Denmark for two and a half years and returning to Britain in 1993-4. I then worked in construction as a diamond driller for a concrete cutting company, which went into liquidation in 2002 and I was made redundant. Consequently, I became homeless as my landlord wouldn’t accept housing benefit. I have been homeless ever since.

During this time, I spent nearly three years in a charity hostel, from which I was evicted for asking too many questions...I now want to do the tours to help me make some money to get my own place and also to make people more aware of what goes on in the city and how the homeless are treated.
