Mod questions

1. Supreme :
lately it's been obvious the player count has dropped a large sum (something like ~60 players in 2 weeks to give you an idea). at first we were concerned not wanting the server to die, we weren't really sure what was gonna happen. After a talk with the owners and devs, were confident that once raids are released it will come back around. Owners have a complete revamp planned ready for raids along with advertisements ready to roll out to help. In the mean time I believe the player count will keep dropping, I don't really expect it to pick up with no advertisements atm and no updates. But I will say that oak was worked very hard on raids so far and that it will be a huge step for Elkoy. I also wanna remind the staff members that as long as you still have that crown you're apart of the staff team and you're required to still do your best and stay engaged as much as possible regardless of the state of the server and the playercount.

Meteorites - As far as raids are concerned, any ETA on atleast which month they're planning for a release?

ZJXMad - As far as raids coming out, and us having some more advertising and such. Can we possibly work on an advertising event for the players as well? That'd give us a lot more free press. I have guidelines n such i can give out for one if we choose to go through that route, and it would allow the players to join in for prizes

Nerf - To keep the new playerbase satisfied, can we allow a bit more social conversations inside the support cc? between boudaries ofcourse but to make people feel more connected

2. Fergus: We're aware exodus are pretty much on the verge of quiting and obviously we don't want that they're a big part of the server as aids as they can be,  some people take it way too serious too and im not gona name names but some are alot guilty of doing this than others, mostly ppl who are in gb and mute exodus people for doing certain things that we (gb) do aswell, if not worse. We're already losin players as is no need to hitler them for shit we get away with. Another thing I want to talk about is staff activity. We're aware that the game is really stale right now but you're still a staff member and still should be playing and at least making a substantial amount of weekly hours. Some of you again more than others seem to have just forgot about elkoy and completely play other games and barely login to elkoy anymore

Mamba - we're not saying u cant play other games, u can. but you're still a staff member here and that should prioritize over any game

Mamba - ive been playing this server since 2014 so its really hard for me to enjoy anything on here when ive done it all, thats why im always bank standing however when im "afk" im usually interacting with players be it on yell or pms

Mario - most of us been on elkoy since day, i personally seen elkoy with 50-60 players online at times. thing is, its different between a player and a staff member. no matter how bad its going for elkoy we still have to be there for the players. imagine going to a store to buy shoes, you need help finding a pair but there's no staff to help you. you're obviously not gonna spend your money on that store. so even if you feel like a player that the game is boring, stale whatever remember you are a staff member and have duties to fulfill. we have to be there for the players that are still here. im gonna try to speak with rest of the events team and try to continue Supreme's idea of making a weekly/monthly podcast where we can just talk to our players and have a good time. its rly important our players dont lose us, just my 2 cents.

Craig - Tbh staff should try interact more with the community imo, we do sometimes but should try even more. I'm guilty of not doing it too but I feel if we do it'll help the community a bit in a way

Craig - Those who are in gb should leave the cc and join support and only go back when we go to war or something

3. Mamba: this isn't to single anyone out and im speaking in general for the whole team, the way punishments are being handled is lackluster, we have moderators muting people for something they shouldn't even be warned for, or moderators being biased (which is a staff rule). this goes back to what fergus said about exodus being muted for something gb does as well and more severe. we're not here to ruin someones gaming experience by being passive aggressive n handing out punishments when someone starts baiting you, flaming or whatever the case might be. we have a ignore list feature for this reason if u cant handle someone flaming ur all mods cuz we trust ur judgement n feel u do a good job but some punishments just make me question why ur even here. no1 is getting in trouble for past punishments but ive told senior mods to start checking out punishment logs and reverse any bullshit punishments and talk to said mod so they can improve. if u continue to hand out bs punishment then maybe moderator isn't for you. we're a team here after all if you dont understand or need help doing something you can always ask in mod chat

Craig - I've noticed that logs have been getting worse and worse, less info is being put in to them a lot of the time. For example when you ban someone for hacking I hate seeing people just put "hacked this player" and never actually show pictures of them getting hacked. Problem with this is it makes handling things harder and logs could even get erased after a while like pickup and drop logs (reset every month according to Stuart)
Would be a lot better if when making a plog you actually show pictures of everything and not just say who they hacked
Or if they're evading show that they are and not just say they are this player
Same with scamming and transferring, show them transfer and not just say they did

Lawrence - Agreed muting ppl for the petty shit makes them leave which isnt good especially when we're at the point that every player we lose is actually huge. I know for a fact If i logged into a server and someone was flaming baiting me and I called them a retard or a spastic and got muted I'd log the fuck out and not come back, a lot of u are only punishing the people flaming (which they are hardly even doing) and not warning the baiters for starting the drama in the first place (me lilbopeep n james are prime examples of baiters lul). Flame is healthy for a community and hitlering every little shit is gonna turn for the worse than it is for the better.

ACP Suggestion by lolfish -Hes coming up with something that actually is so true, staking logs could be improved so much to catch rwters by just adding damage dealt to the log if thats even possible.
Stuff can be covered up so easily

Craig - Another thing is the way appeals are being handled, atm it's like people just look at the title and reply without even reading the log or looking in to it. That shouldn't be the case. There's also times when appeals and reports are left for hours upon hours without being handled for no reason

Craig punishment suggestion - Honestly should change 3rd mutes to a week and not perm

Valium addressing RWT - One problem i've noticed about Sythe RWTers is that we have leniency structured on buyers. But most of the Sythe RWTers buy and sell. They buy at a lower rate to sell it at a higher rate. Would it be appropriate to categorize RWTers who buy AND sell as just sellers in the end and punish them accordingly. I mean they literally dictate the currency that comes in and out of a game that doesn't ultimately belong to them and altar the economy.

ZJXMad ACP suggestion - as far as ACP changes, like lolfish said (staking) damage, rules if possible etc would be glorious. And the tooltip, if i hover over a name, zero infractions, 3 infractions, etc

Supreme- this is more for server supports then anything but
at the moment we have a lot of mods more then we have ever had on elkoy, on top of an already low playercount means that there isnt as much need for mods
i honestly wouldnt expect a promotion till the 2-3 month mark and thats just a guess, don't go by those numbers completely
