  1. "Frank, have you seen my passport!" Mikey was running around the house, looking under pillows and in the cabinets- everywhere a passport wouldn't be.
  2.
  3. "It's on top of the suitcase. With mine. Where we put them an hour ago." Frank walked out of the bathroom with his towel around his waist. "Calm down! Everything's going to be fine, don't worry about it." He grinned up at his boyfriend and nudged his side. "It's not like they're gonna leave us. Gerard would probably flip his shit if you got left behind."
  4.
  5. Mikey whined a little, but leaned down for Frank to kiss him when Frank tugged on his shirt. "Alright alright... But why aren't you dressed? Bob's supposed to pick us up in fifteen minutes."
  6.
  7. "It doesn't take me an hour to get dressed, unlike you." Frank rolled his eyes and walked in to the bed room, whipping his towel off just before he shut the door and laughing at the frustrated groan he head from out in the hall.
  8.
  9. True to his word, Frank was dressed and pulling out the suitcases in ten minutes, just as Bob was pulling up outside. "Told you he'd be early." Frank brushed his hair out of his face as Mikey took the bigger of the two bags and wheeled it outside. The trunk of the car was already popped open.
  10.
  11. "Do you have your passports?" Bob looked back at Mikey who gave him a flat look.
  12.
  13. "Don't worry your pretty beardy face, Bobert, I've got it all taken care of." Frank hopped in the front seat and buckled in. "Where's Gerard and Ray?"
  14.
  15. "Already at the port. Early boarding is in an hour and they saved places so we'd be first in the shuttle. Don't see why, first class always boards first anyway." He continued to grumble, leaving Frank to hide a giggle. He stuck his hand between the center console and the seat and wiggled his fingers so Mikey would notice, and they spent the short ride to the port holding hands and Mikey playing with Frank's fingers nervously.
  16.
  17. Frank could tell Mikey was feeling a little apprehensive over the trip and put an arm around the taller man's waist. "Don't worry. It'll be fine. We'll get there and have a blast."
  18.
  19. "Yeah but shuttles have gotten lost and-" Frank cut him off with a kiss on the chin since he couldn't reach his lips.
  20.
  21. "Did I not tell you to stop reading those conspiracy theory websites like four times last night? Geez..."
  22.
  23. He continued to grumble out statistics but put his arm around Frank's shoulders as they made their way through security.
  24.
  25. "Oh my god!" Mikey stared wide eyed at Gerard when they got to the right gate. "What the fuck?!"
  26.
  27. Gerard pouted from where he was sitting on his large, overstuffed carry-on. "What? What did I do?"
  28.
  29. "Your hair! Where did it go!" Mikey ran to his brother and ruffled what was left of his hair. It was short and white and still kind of rough feeling from whatever chemicals he'd used to bleach it.
  30.
  31. "Oh calm down, it'll grow back. If it doesn't fall out from all the dye." Ray was standing next to him with a much more practical carry on. He had a pink hair tie around his wrist and was putting his curly hair in to a ponytail.
  32.
  33. "It's /color/, Ray, you should know that."
  34.
  35. Eventually Mikey got over the shock, and left his brother to bicker with his own boyfriend. He went back over to Frank, who had just come back from giving their bags to what he called the 'airport gods,' AKA handing them over to he put in to the shuttle as cargo.
  36.
  37. "So you like his hair?"
  38.
  39. "You knew about this didn't you?" He frowned a bit and did his best to look displeased, though a bit of worry showing only made him look vaguely sick.
  40.
  41. "Hey it distracted you right?" Frank smirked. "Come on, they're finally letting us on." He nudged Mikey's side and they joined the rest of the band over at the weird hallway that led to the shuttle. This was the worst part for Mikey. He had never gone on a trip like this before. He'd gone all over the world touring with the band, yeah. But he'd never gone here.
  42.
  43. Everything looked pretty similar to a regular airplane; rows of seats with various amounts of leg room and suspicious stains. They were shown through some curtains to the first class section, though, to some nicer seats. The area looked like a cross between a passenger train and first class airplane compartments. Frank and Mikey were led by a flight attendant to a closed off compartment, with Gerard and Ray in another next door, and lonesome Bob by himself.
  44.
  45. Mikey waved to his brother before Frank pulled him inside their little private room. It had two seats that reclined in to beds, and looked like they could be pushed together.
  46.
  47. "Come here." Frank sat down in one of the comfy recliners and pulled Mikey in to his lap. Mikey practically collapsed on him and sighed deeply when Frank put his arms around his waist. "It's just a shuttle trip. We'll be fine." He pointed to the window, where they couldn't see anything but other shuttles and gates. There were slightly glowing runes that were starting to get brighter as they got closer to take off. "Those things never fail."
  48.
  49. "Sure..." Mikey sighed again and moved so he was sitting besides Frank. "How'd you get so good at the whole magic thing anyway?"
  50.
  51. "Lots of spare time and a little bit of talent. You'd be better than me if you ever tried it out," Frank mumbled.
  52.
  53. "But I don't want to."
  54.
  55. "We'll see about that. Everybody tries something when they go over to Terra."
  56.
  57. "Why are we even going anyway?"
  58.
  59. "Your brother's idea, remember? He wanted to go for fun and Ray wanted to see if we could set up a Terran tour later."
  60.
  61. There was a flashing light above the door, signaling for them to sit up and put on their seat belts. Frank slid in to the other seat with a grin.
  62.
  63. The shuttle started to taxi out to the runway.
  64.
  65. Mikey looked out the window for a distraction, noticing the runes and magic embedded in the shuttle start to activate. The safest and easiest way to cross the plane to the more magical version of Earth was by flying, he'd read the night before. The shuttles were a mix of Earth and Terran build, sturdy to withstand nonmagical Earth but also able to deal with the way Terra seemed to eat through electronics without much trouble. Once they got in the air, they would fly towards the middle of the Atlantic Ocean where a mage-pilot would open up a portal and fly them through. It all seemed pretty sketchy to Mikey but he didn't have much choice. Everyone in the band had gone over before at least once or twice, and Mikey was half sure Frank used to live there. Looked like now it was his turn.
  66.
  67. Getting in the air was easy, and didn't bother him at all. There was a polite knock from outside where a flight attendant let them know they could move around.
