  1. D drive is 'corrupted'. Tried running chkdsk multiple times, here's the errors.
  2. commands tried:

  4. chkdsk /f D:\
  5. chkdsk /r /f D:\
  6. chkdsk /r D:\
  7.  
  8. Every time, CHKDSK has ended in one of two ways.
  9. "An error occurred while examining files and directories."
  10. OR
  11. "Corruption was found while examining the volume bitmap." --and then it hangs. I have waited about an hour and it still has not left this message.

  13. I can't copy any files to the drive when it is mounted but I can see the files on it. I have not attempted to directly access this drive. The drive is 2TB, 7200RPM. Formatted as exFAT.
  14. Running Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
  15.  
  16. Certain apps that may require the drive (Discord, ShareX) fail to open.
