  109. Pyrokinesis
  110.
  111. Like Blaze, Hope is born with the power of pyrokinesis, the ability to create and control fire in any way he desires. This ability is so deeply rooted in him that his soul itself is alit with flames. Though Hope initially had trouble controlling his flames, he has since become very adept at using them, handling his flames delicately enough to creates small embers in the palm of his hands or defrost frozen creatures without harming them. His control over fire is not limited to his own flames, but also those in the environment, allowing him to bend foreign flames to his will.
  112.
  113.
  114. Physical Abilities
  115.
  116. Like many other characters in the series, Hope is able to run at super speed, though he is not as fast as Sonic or Shadow. Regardless, he is still remarkably fast and possesses high speed movements and fast reflexes, something which even Sonic has acknowledged.
  117.
  118. In line with his graceful nature, Hope is also a quick thinker with lucid movements. He is incredibly acrobatic and nimble, and possesses impressive dexterity. He is shown being able to jump very long distances while landing perfectly safely, and can, while airborne, perform several tricks with precise movements. On the ground he is also able to perform tricks such as top spins, axels and axel jumps.
  119.
  120. As the Next Guardian of the Sol Emeralds, Hope has a deep connection to the emeralds Just like his Mother Blaze. Like Knuckles, he can sense the Sol Emeralds' energies, and can as well sense disruptions in the world he resides in. Before he understood the meaning of friendship from Sonic, Blaze, and his friends, Hope was unable to harness the power of the Sol Emeralds, but after embracing the friendships he had forged, he gained the ability to tap into the Sol Emeralds' energies and use them to empower him.
  121.
  122.
  123. Combat Skills
  124.
  125. Being the next guardian of the Sol Emeralds, Hope is a very skilled fighter. He is arguably one of the strongest Male characters in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, being the only Child so far who has been able to tie with Sonic in combat. Fiercely dedicated to his duty, Hope is as intense in battle as he is graceful and an equally skilled combatant.
  126.
  127.
  128. Fighting Style
  129.
  130. Most of Hope's combat moves focuses on using graceful and delicate movements, similar to ballet moves much like his Mother, to strike precise and hard blows at his opponents. When attacking, he tends to use his feet when launching physical blows. Most of Hope’s fighting moves comes from his pyrokinesis and relies heavily on their execution. By using his pyrokinesis in conjuring with his moves, Hope can create unique and dynamic attacks that deals destructive damage on his targets, making him a fierce force to be reckoned with in combat.
  131.
  132.
  133. Techniques and Moves
  134.
  135. Hope’s primary offensive maneuver involves turning himself into a tornado of fire by spinning around. His techniques Burst Dash and Spinning Claw lets him charge fire and then launch him at full speed along the ground as a fiery tornado that could destroy anything it collides with, similar to Sonic’s Spin Dash, but it does not keep its speed or goes faster. He can likewise perform an attack similar to the Homing Attack, called Fire Claw, where he quickly launches himself at the enemy and attacks them.
  136.
  137. By using his pyrokinesis, Hope can make him able to briefly hover in the air with his Burst Hover by igniting fire under his feet. By also enveloping himself in fire, he can increase his speed further by launching herself as a large fire projectile, called the Fire Boost, which destroys any opponent caught in his path, similar to the Boost.
  138.
  139. Also, his Axel Jump and Axel Tornado allows him to jump into the air and twirling, making himself a fiery tornado that damages anything he makes contact with.

  143.
  144. Burning Blaze
  145.
  146. Much like his Mother, after realizing the importance of friendship and allowing himself to open up to people, Hope learned how to harness the power of the seven Sol Emeralds to transform into Burning Hope. In this state, all of Hope's abilities far surpasses his normal ones, and he is as well able to fly and is nearly invulnerable. His pyrokinesis is also amplified, allowing him to shoot large fireballs. This form's main weakness is that it consumes a lot of Ring energy and needs Rings to be maintained.
  147.
  148.
  149. Color Powers
  150.
  151. By harnessing different variants of Hyper-go-on from Wisps, Hope can use specific Color Powers to transform into a certain form, such as a drill, a laser or even a planet, each one possessing its own unique abilities. So far, Hope has been able to transform into the Cyan Laser, Yellow Drill and Indigo Asteroid. However, these transformations require a steady supply of Hyper-go-on to be maintained.

  155. Biography:
  156.
  157.
  158. Hope the Hedgecat is the youngest son of Sonic the Hedgehog and Blaze the Cat in an Alternate Universe. Being a hybrid, he is usually looked down upon by others outside of his family for being one of few of his kind. Despite such happenings, Hope still strives to make friends and to get to know other people. He is best described as cheerful, optimistic, loyal, very friendly, and naive. Like his father, he has a strong sense of duty to help those in need, no matter the size of the problem. He enjoys making friends exploring natural areas with his sister, Fiora, learning magic from his brother, Ash, and playing games with friends. Hope does his best to bring a smile to everyone he meets, including some enemies.
