  1. [01:07] "Woah, woah." The Wolf merely presents himself between the two, "May I offer an alternative, lady Veles? Surely you wouldn't want to eat this one - he stinks of sweat and..." Something about sailors. "... Yeah, that's not really good...."
  2.
  3. He was really tiptoeing with his life right this second, but, he needed to do something - he couldn't just stand around and let someone get eaten alive, especially since his friend was almost in a situation like this, if they didn't get away...
  4.
  5. "Let's wash him up and I'll cook you something up and you could have him later! Just try it out, will ya?" He knew he couldn't just dropkick the everloving fangs out of this particular snake just yet, especially not with one leg.
  6.
  7. He tried to keep an upbeat yet timid attitude, since an especially hungry demon stood before him - and he didn't want to be dinner, exactly... So he'd rather cook some! He's a pretty decent cook, after all - all he could do is jerky, two hands, one leg.
  8.
  9. "What do you say??"
  10. (Bijel Volk)
  11. [01:08] The collar hadn't been reactivated. It wasn't off... But it was still inactive. But still, he wasn't pulling his flames back up passively around himself. He didn't trust them.
  12.
  13. Although... On seeing her go to consume him. There'd be a momentary look of shock, as if he wasn't expecting it. Despite the rage he'd just been going through.
  14.
  15. He knew better than to not expect it. Demiier had offerred his soul for it. "Don'.... You wan' ta see... How yer stuff'd affect a holy magi?" He inquired, also adding on faintly to Bijel's request. "Wouldn' tha' be more fer ya to learn from?"
  16. (Darrel Hull)
  17. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  18.
  19. [01:10] There are no words offered to either. In fact? She doesn't pause to listen to the entirety of Bijel's speech. Just before his final question is asked, without hesitation, a shrill voice enters the mind of the Volk.
  20.
  21. While her maw opens wider, as if to accent her point.
  22. (Veles)
  23. [01:15] Bijel sighs.
  24.
  25. He moves back a little, looking over at Demiier - he'd move to at least give him a mercy kill before the snake has it's feast.
  26.
  27. "... Can I at least take his life? Mercy kill him?" He'd look over at the blonde headed boy, he had no issue snapping his neck, if it meant he'd feel less pain from the whole ordeal. He'd have someone else to hate, the White Wolf would rather be the one to take his life.
  28. (Bijel Volk)
  29. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  30.
  31. [01:16] Lemuria Augustus says, "I would require some food."
  32. [01:16] Taliyah asks, "Sibylle..! Do you happen to have some?"
  33. [01:16] Sibylle says, "I do not, my Lady."
  34. [01:17] Taliyah says, "Ah."
  35. [01:17] Taliyah says, "Well, I suppose it's just this then."
  36. [01:18] Lemuria Augustus exclaims, "It is a pleasure doing business!"
  37. [01:20] Taliyah says, "Mhm, certainly."
  38. [01:22] Unless stopped once more, she continues with her feast. Yet as those fangs dig into his neck. She pauses, looking towards Sibylle, then to M'ousse.
  39.
  40. Stating not a word as her claws dig into the humans shoulder, cleaving his arm clean from their body. Tossing it towards the mouse-like figure. One of these days, it would be remembered.
  41.
  42. That this is a tower of demons, a citadel of depravity.
  43.
  44. Perhaps, a reminder now given, as Demiier's final moments can be witnessed by all.
  45. (Veles)
  46. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  47.
  48. [01:25] Daemia glances over to the ripped off arm. Daemia looks at it for a moment before glancing back over to Veles, watching the horrid show.
  49. (Daemia Hexis)
  50. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  51.
  52. [01:26] A yell erupted from the man once the demon sank her fangs into his body. Like venom, the occultic power of an abnormal being plagued his insides. He could feel his mana invaded as if blood passing through veins, only for his body itself to feel weakened.
  53.
  54. The mind spiraled out of control from the pain and perversion of fleeting memories, and then his arm comes off...
  55.
  56. His eyes never opened to what felt like liquid coming from a part of his body, the splotches of blood that came from him like sprinkles already invading his ears,
  57.
  58. "So-Sophia... I have... Failed you!"
  59.
  60. He shouted as he recalled his moments with her, and the previous events of Osrona's killings and announcements...
  61.
  62. Damn those Knights, and damn the chaos of this world.
  63. (Demiier)
  64. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  65.
  66. [01:26] Daemia Hexis exclaims, "Oh! Oh! Oh!"
  67. [01:26] Bijel was not able to summon his ice since the day he was captured.
  68.
  69. But.
  70.
  71. Right now?
  72.
  73. Something in him snapped - he could feel his fingers cooling down - his grip tightens on what he could assume was an icicle.
  74.
  75. He throws the large construct of ice, striking the blonde haired boy in the chest - directly to the heart... Bijel would loose his balance from this outburst, falling back first onto the grass below.
  76.
  77. If there was one thing he despised other than himself--
  78.
  79. It was being helpless.
  80. (Bijel Volk)
  81. [01:38] It was rare.
  82.
  83. Rare that she feasted on human, much preferring the flesh of her own kin. Regardless, she'd found herself growing irate. Irrational and annoyed with each telepathic message. Losing her composure with every interrupting of what she deemed the simplest means of cleaning up this mess.
  84.
  85. Seeing all too clearly...
  86.
  87. ...that Demiier had lost the will to live long before approaching this tower.
  88.
  89. Crunch.
  90.
  91. A powerful bite taken ones his final words are spoken. Her jaw realigns, after snapping through the blonde's skull. Shifting a gaze full of malice in the direction of Bijel. Swallowing thick chunks of skull, brain, meat.
  92.
  93. Saying not a word, as she'd noticed it. The ice piercing through the chest of her meal, the final straw to break the serpents back.
  94.
  95. "I will not show mercy...to those so willing to waste their lives. I never have, I never will. Should one wish to jump from our tower, head first, I'd encourage them. For I've no patience for those who are weak...
  96.
  97. And refuse to shed themselves of such weakness."
  98.
  99. Spoken as she lunges for Bijel, assaulting him with a flurry of azure petals veiling her frame.
  100. (Veles)
  101. [01:50] Oh this was bad.
  102.
  103. Really bad.
  104.
  105. Like, terribly bad.
  106.
  107. -- The petals? They were nothing to joke about, although the Wolf clearly had his own way - his own will to go by and he wasn't going to bandon that just because of a mere collar around his neck. Sure, she could have her prey - but toying around with thim like that?
  108.
  109. That wasn't going to fly.
  110.
  111. Once he tried to summon up his ice again - he found himself unable to - his mind in a delimma. Did he just -- kill another human being? The first one he ever killed? Sure, he was all about maiming them and even breaking their bones but - taking a life? That was never on the Wolf's mind.
  112.
  113. Bijel simply takes his punishment - seeming rather quiet - if anything this felt like the right thing to undergo. Even if he saved Demeirr's last moments of suffering with a swift stab, his life was lost.
  114.
  115. Volk only blamed himself, "I may be a prisoner here, I may have lost my leg - but never will I stand by while you toy with someone like that. I've lived long believing in my own way and that's how it shall be." He'd speak, wincing from the shredding pain of Veles' petals.
  116.
  117. "I'll never watch someone else suffer, not as I draw breath, I'd rather kill them myself instead of watching you toy with them."
  118. (Bijel Volk)
  119. [02:11] When he refuses to move, the naga was quick to coil and curl around him. Wrapping her tail around his midsection, coiling it's end around the leg that remains. Slithering across his frame until her torso is positioned behind the wolf.
  120.
  121. Saying not a word as she sinks her fangs into his neck, flooding his body with a paralyzing venom, one tainted with a weaker variation of her virus. All at once, he could feel himself growing hot, and cold. Finding his muscles relaxed and difficult to move, yet not a hint of numbness to be found.
  122.
  123. Making sure he felt it all.
  124.
  125. Once those blood fangs retract, she begins to speak. Focusing on what upset her the most, regarding all this. "...I assure you, devouring one's head is a farcry from toying with a human. Hinder me again, and I will show you the difference between how I treat my food.
  126.
  127. And how I treat my toys."
  128.
  129. Gentle, her palm raises, falling atop the Volk's dome. "...but, you are bold, and fearless. I can see why Dagon chose to keep you alive." Spoken as roughly a dozen scarlet hued vines break free from the scales upon her back. Vines that dive into his torso. Worming their way into his chest, draining him of his vital fluids. Within those vines his own blood mixes with hers, and the Verona virus.
  130.
  131. And soon as the amalgamation of human and demon blood is mixed, tainted by the virus and mutagens, it's pumped directly into his veins.
  132.
  133. The vines, and herself retract, leaving him to lie on the grass.
  134.
  135. "When you learn to stand for something that makes you more than a martyr, is when you'll get your leg. For now, enjoy not standing. For yourself. For anything."
  136.
  137.
  138. (Veles)
  139.
  140. [19:46] Bijel felt the snake woman's scaley body wrap around his own after the petals began to shred through his skin - as painful as it should be, the Wolf had a lot of things on his mind to go through. The fact he took that blonde man's life - it would be a lie if he wasn't guilty about it - even if he ended his suffering before the snake managed to bite his head off.
  141.
  142. Feeling her body squeezing against his own - the snake squeezing the air out of his lungs got him to gasp a little, although her hold wasn't aimmed to kill - it was obvious she wasn't joking around either. Once those fangs sunk in? Yeah, Bijel was in a whole other world of pain respectively.
  143.
  144. Twisting around underneath her grasp - he felt his muscles spasm and lock up due to her neurotoxin that she injected into him, alongside something even more sinister than he'd ever imagine. He felt his organs reacting to whatever entered his bloodstream, where as the venom was not concentrated, the Virus she injected him with, was burning through his body like gasoline.
  145.
  146. Then she released him, only for vines to appear from within her scales, piercing through his torso - connecting deeply within his arteries pumping him full of her own blood, which reacted with the virus more violently - Bijel was foaming at the mouth, his eyes slowly turning bloodshot red.
  147.
  148. Then he lied onto the ground, eyes rolling to the back of his head, unable to move a single muscle - his entire body was being turned to mush and put back together again, though such was not visible to the naked eye.
  149. (Bijel Volk)
  150. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  151.
  152. [19:54] With her parting words, he was left to suffer, left to think over her claim and recover from the infection. Upon his awakening? He'd find himself changed. Fingernails replaced with claws, perhaps even slit eyes and scales growing in various places. Whatever the case may be, a portion of his humanity?
  153.
  154. Had been taken away.
  155.
  156. Without so much as a word, she slithers onward.
  157.
  158. And many days later, they find themselves here. Present time, present day.
  159. (Veles)
