Characters were first observed earlier in Western la Noscea teleporting between interaction points, and then appeared/disappeared in the same manner in Central Shroud near where players place the True Heart to summon the Crystal Bearer enemy for the quest "The Curious Case of Giggity."

The offending characters do not act when the True Heart is placed, however. They will target the Crystal Bearer enemy and wait for the enemy to attack and damage them first before they attempt to attack back, which leads one to believe they are using a scripted system to deal with quest enemies. They also teleport out of most Area of Effect Attacks without actually animating their character.
