- [17:29] Small world.
- Ael grinned for a moment as Eliphas made mention of his mother, Meia as well as his father Dallan. "Meia, she was a family friend, practically a cousin in a sense. And your father was my teacher, I took his Pyromancy classes when I was a teen." He said, it had been years since Dallan's passing, about a decade. His hand stretched forward, shaking Eliphas own. "Pleasure to meet you Eliphas, my name's Ael Gelmont."
- Ael's thumb moved to Dahak then, "This here's a new student of Starfall. Just showing him the ropes, you know. He hasn't seen much beyond Osrona's walls." He explained.
- "Yeah, the Gardios are ah- an interesting bunch to say the least. I suppose." His encounter's with them hadn't been bad, nor necessarily good. Aside from needing to save one from what may have been death. That was good he guessed?
- (Ael Gelmont)
- [17:56] Small world indeed.
- "It's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance Dahak." a nod followed along with a short bow.
- Silently, he'd curse all of those strict lectures that he received from Saga as a kid. They overlapped too well when meeting an ordinary joe.
- "Wait? Really? You actually met my parents Dallan and Meia? And Meia was practically your cousin?" a breath of fresh air escaped his lips as he stood back, crossing his arms as blue hues looked over Ael.
- "You gotta tell me more about them some time! Saga and Ethric only says so much, and I have yet to sit down with Lucas and Chaska Alder about it."
- "But yeah, I'm glad to have met you. I'm sure that you have some pretty interesting stories about them, aswell as some journeys that you've taken yourself. We should grab a drink some time you know?"
- He paused, considering the whole 'heavenly' nature of every Osronian.
- "Or tea? Don't know if you drink." he'd laugh.
- "As for the Gardios's? They are an interesting bunch. Seems like Seifer likes to abuse his power a lot from what I've heard from people so far."
- (Eliphas Aegeus)
- [18:02] "I was a small child when I met Meia, she was a little older than myself. Her mother, my mother being close friends. So there's no true blood relation. I know there was a time they didn't talk for some years in between that as well." He shrugged, though he didn't know too much about it or the detail's specifically. Dallan and Meia were older.
- "Absolutely, though most of it's old stories. My mother's dead, and my Father's retired, so hard to get more information these days." He nodded then. "You should definitely speak with them, they'd know a lot too. And we should most certainly! I've always got good wine available."
- He chuckled. "Yeah, I drink." Then, speaking on Seifer and the Gardios, he'd heard some things but never seen them firsthand, and couldn't really say much as he wasn't wholly with the 'Order', just an Osronan citizen who had some wealth and a bit of family name.
- (Ael Gelmont)
- [18:03] Ael Gelmont says, "Worth looking into though, probably."
- [18:04] Ael Gelmont asks, "Did anyone want to train for a moment, or nah?"
- [18:05] Eliphas Aegeus says, "I'll actually take you up on that."
- [18:05] Ael Gelmont says, "Alright."
- [18:12] Aaah!
- Eliphas smiled when Ael mentioned not knowing TOO much about his parents, given the age gap and all. But they were close, and even though the two weren't blood related. He felt a sense of kinship coming from them, just by being someone whose family was close friends of his parents.
- That was enough for him.
- "Yes, we should definitely meet up one day. Once, we're doing showing the kid around of course."
- "Also, I hate to say it but I'm not a big fan of wine." spreading his arms out, he shrugged. "But maybe. Just maybe! You can put me onto something that I might just enjoy."
- (Eliphas Aegeus)
- [18:20] Ael nodded. "Most certainly." He agreed, it was good to find family friends yet again, people he could speak to more frequently, and possibly rely on one another when shit hits the fan. Eliphas was certainly his father's son, he could see a bit of the resemblance in his features.
- This was also confirmed as they began to spar, magma manipulated on the field before him. Definitely. A grin rose from Ael, more pupils who utilized fire were a welcome sight, and he wanted to hone each and one into a weapon as deadly as he was.
- Maybe they'd make a cool sword or gun, too. Who knew.
- "Doesn't have to necessarily be wine. Mead works too." He laughed. "But Hollee makes a wonderful coffee or tea, if you prefer that." He shifted footing once more, preparing to continue their training.
- (Ael Gelmont)
- [18:35] "Sorry to hear about the loss of your mother, and also about your father's retirement."
- His words were full of remorse, Eliphas knew first hand just how hard it was to have your parent's taken away from you. Especially from a young age, but there was nothing that the two could do about it.
- Except for finding vengeance for them, by either forgiving or by taking their life.
- A hand fell to to the leatherly hilt of his blade before ripping it free, grinding it out as he pulled it from it's sheath.
- Stepping forward, fire danced around his form.
- But before he stepped off, he looked to Ael's magic with wonder in his eyes. It wasn't everyday that he's seen a new variation of fire magic. Or purely new form of magic combinations.
- Grinning hard, he couldn't help himself but not to laugh as he charged forward, welcoming the challenge that now stood before him as he swung away at Ael's form. Trying to capture them within his grasp as he moved around them. Trying his best to stay way from his violent flames but the intensity? The power? All of it became overwhelming for him!
- Quickly he found himself scampering away as he stood off to the side, heaving heavily as fire kindled in his eyes.
- "That.. that magic you use.. What is that?"
- Curiousity burned within him as he saw an opportunity, a chance. Something that peaked his interest as he eyed the wings that sprouted from their back.
- Ael Gelmont was certainly a powerful magi, and the magics they used went to show their prowess. Call it fate, call it a calling, call it a god looking after the singular Aegeus.
- Whatever it was, it was a blessing in itself to meet Ael.
- (Eliphas Aegeus)
- [18:36] Eliphas Aegeus says, "Also, sorry to cut this shot. But There's something I have to attend too. A special class that is."
- [18:37] Eliphas Aegeus says, "But, I'd like to know more about the magics you use."
- [18:37] Ael Gelmont says, "Oh, of course."
- [18:40] "Thanks. Though, the old man retired happily, he's just relaxing these days. Don't see him much at all, though." Perhaps his Father would get out more again someday. Regardless, it was Ael's time to forge a path for the Gelmont house, and he took the task with pride.
- It seemed Eliphas interest in his form of magic was apparent, another smile to follow. "I utilize Plasma in my magic, turning the fire to an ultra-violet hue. I would be happy to help teach you, improve your technique if need be." Though it seemed the son of Dallan needed to make leave and swiftly.
- Aelk shifted, preparing to conclude their spar. "Alright, let's get this done with then. We can discuss it when you get back."
- (Ael Gelmont)
