  13. Rules & Guidelines-
  14.
  15.
  16. • Can you please link the rules and tell us what you think is good or bad about them.: http://www.nopixel.net/upload/index.php?threads/nopixel-official-rules-guidelines.104748/. I like that there are a few rules that are easy to remember and have not changed much from other roleplaying games.
  17. • What is your definition of roleplay?: Immersing yourself and others into the characteristics that you've decided your character should have.
  18. • What type of characters have you roleplayed before?: I've roleplayed in Arma 3 and in Garrys Mod a few years ago. In Arma 3 I was part of a criminal organization and helped traffic drugs throughout the city. The roleplaying on Garrysmod wasn't as serious but I remember being a security guard for the mayor who created legislation that would sometimes infuriate the citizens and they would try to come after him.
  19. • What type of characters do you intend to roleplay?: I intend to start a character that sells high priced products to the citizens (Car dealer, Real estate, etc.) and at the same time work my way up one of the criminal organizations in the city. Obviously, I'll have to build relationships at first to get myself into these positions of power.
  20. o What are your character positives and negative characteristics?: Michael is a competitive son of a bitch and doesn't take shit from anybody. You can argue that this is a positive characteristic, but in reality, this is Michael's biggest flaw. He has a high ego for somebody new to the city and even though he wants to get a high paying legal job because of his ego he always ends up hanging with the wrong crowd and getting in trouble. Physically, Michael is a 25-year-old white male who looks like your typical frat boy. He dresses in polo shirts and khakis with a pair of shades. Possibly some boat shoes depending on the occasion. He’s got an excellent mind on how to run a business because he just recently graduated with a business degree. Whether that business be legal or illegal, he knows how to operate a cash flow positive enterprise. He doesn’t have much street experience because after all he’s just a white college graduate who grew up in the suburbs. He’ll have to learn the trade of the streets from the people he meets in the city. But once he get’s down the basics you can bet he’ll find a way to make money off of it and make him and his crew wealthy enough to live in the mansions around Los Santos.
  21. • When do you feel is a good time to break character? Never. As the rules say play it out and report it on the forums if you believe a rule has been broken.

  25. Situational Questions-
  26. Please answer all of these questions in character - using the information you have provided above.
  27.
  28.
  29. 1. What are your plans for your first day in Los Santos?: I plan on finding legal jobs to do and begin to build relationships with the business people around the city so I can start earning some money and build a name for myself. To start, I’ll have to use what money I came with to taxi from the airport to the city. Then, I need to get my basic necessities down: food, water, and housing. I heard that the apartments in the city are pretty affordable so I’ll talk to a real estate agent to try to get a lease on one of those apartments so I have a place to sleep and store my belongings. Now I’ve got to talk to the locals around the apartments and seek information on what job openings are available around the city so that I can actually pay my rent. For now, I’ll be taking a taxi around the city until I have enough money for a car, or I get desperate enough to hotwire a car. Hopefully, I get introduced to the right people in the underground world who can help me get started making some serious cash so that I can invest it in starting my dream of owning a dealership or selling real estate.
  30. 2. The cops have pulled you over in a case of mistaken identity. What do you do? Question the officer as to why I was stopped. Once he replies with something that I don’t know anything about, explain to him that you’ve got the wrong guy. Offer the officer my ID to prove that I haven’t been involved. Hopefully, once he checks my ID, he’ll confirm that I am not the person he’s looking for.
  31. 3. You are robbing a store. Inside the store is the owner and a civilian. Both individuals are begging you not to rob or hurt them. How would you roleplay this situation and what actions would you take? Force both of them further into the store away from the entrance so that nobody can see what's happening. Once Michael sets his mind on something, nobody is going to stop him from doing what he has set out to do. I'll get the owner to give me all of the money in the register and in the safe. Then, check both the civilian and the owner for their IDs and take down their addresses in case you get information on the street that there was a robbery at that store. Search to see if there are cameras in the store and if so, force the owner to delete the tapes and then smash the DVR so that it can't record us going out.
  32. 4. A stranger comes up to you and says he needs another person for a “big job” in town. How do you react and what do you do? First of all, what's in it for me? Michael doesn't bother getting into shit if it doesn't involve him getting something that he desires. Whether it be money or power, one of the two have to be involved because money = power and power = money. After confirming it involves one of those two things for Michael, I'll try to get the low down on what the job is without getting into much detail. If it's something that interests me, I'll try to hit up my contacts and see if anyone knows anything about the name that I would've asked him for. If he's legit and I'm interested I'll get his contact information and let him SMS me when he's ready to start the job.
  33. 5. You are repairing your car and someone pulls up behind you with their gun drawn. They tell you to drop you stuff and handover your keys. What would you say and do in this situation? Put your hands in the air to show you're not a threat. Tell them that you don’t want any trouble and that you’ll give them whatever they want. Follow their direction in handing over the keys. Assuming they let you go and just take the car, immediately run away and call the police once he’s out of sight (Assuming they left your phone on the ground and didn’t take it). Explain to the police the situation and describe the individual and the car that was stolen.
  34. 6. You have been involved in a crime with a group of known individuals; the officer offers you less time if you give up information on your group members; what would you do / how would you react? Michael isn't a snitch. I'm not ratting any of my friends out because I know if I do it'll be handled on the street. Laugh at the officer’s request and tell him “You know I can’t do that boss.” I'll probably end up dead and ruin the trust that I've built with my crew. Without trust I won’t be able to get into anymore "jobs" with them.
  35. 7. You’ve found what looks like a random car in the street with a load of drugs inside. What do you do and why? Shit, if Michael sees an opportunity, he takes his shot. Call up a buddy and scout the area out to see if it's a bait car. If we don't find anything suspicious, steal a SUV and load up the drugs into the stolen SUV and try to find a buyer ASAP. If one isn't available find out how to store the drugs for safe keeping until you can find somebody to get rid of it.
  36. 8. It’s just another day for you as a tow truck driver. You roll up to a job, only to see the person who called you, is holding an EMS hostage. The driver seems erratic and volatile. What do you do? Drive away and contact the police. It's not your responsibility nor your right to deal with a hostage situation. Vigilantes aren’t the smartest people. Also, if you did intervene you would just catch heat from the cops because the only way that you’re going to engage somebody with a hostage is with a gun, and that gun would likely not be a legal gun.
  37. 9. You’ve gotten yourself into a situation – you owe a gang $5000 which you must pay back within a few hours. What could be a legal way to get this money in a pinch? Ask for a loan from a friend or try to get a title loan on a vehicle you own from the local dealership. There’s no get rich quick scheme that’s legal besides getting a loan.
  38. 10. You've been selling drugs on another gangs turf and they find you. How would your character react to this and deal with the situation? Try to explain to them that you didn't know it was their turf. Offer them all of the material stuff you have on you (drugs and cash) and promise them you won’t return and that it was a misunderstanding. After all, at this point they could do a lot worse than take your stuff so showing initiative in giving them your stuff before they attempt to rob you might make them think it's sincere and they won’t physically harm you.
