  1. (( The world needs some more good old-fashioned vampire-fucking, so I've decided to be the change I want to see in the world and play the immortal counterpart to a human that's surprisingly cool with the whole undead thing. Or, hey, if you wanted to mix things up a little, they could be some other form of supernatural critter and my guy's just stupid oblivious. Andreios, affectionately known as Rei to those he trusts (not a lot of those around lately), is a reclusive vampire whose hobbies include writing about how sad he is, brooding while hanging upside down, being pretentious, and writing about how sad he is but this time it's poetry so it's art now get out of his room and stop reading his diary, mom. I've kept the time period vague so we can spring for something historical or modern, whatever sparks the most joy and lights a fire in your cold, dead heart. Come on down if you're in the mood for some nibbling, some sucking, and maybe if you're really kinky we can spring for some scandalous hand-holding. Feel free to ask about tossing in some of that good good polyamory because his bed (and his heart) is big enough for more than just two. Let's hash out the specifics before you respond and thanks for reading! ))

  4. In the confines of his slumber, Andreios dreams of sunlight.

  6. The very thing that would spell his doom is what he craves most, a fantasy where its rays wouldn't burn him to ash and he could walk freely under its light. These dreams are an oddity when pitted against the vast expanse of his life; never before had he dreamed of something so antithetical to the creature he is. Not until a certain human had scaled his walls, that is to say. How to even begin going about describing what they are to one another? Simple companionship is too plain, a fresh source of sustenance too crass. "Lovers" has a certain ring to it that he fears putting voice to, its cadence wasted on thoughts of a monster. It will remain unspoken, for heaven only knew what he would do if his earnest truth were scorned out of hand.

  8. Far from the romantic ideal of a vampire lord with centuries of experience in seduction, the fact of the matter is that this is the first human Andreios has ever given his heart to, still and withered though it may be, and he is loath to risk the first taste of sunlight he's had since becoming a parasite. It isn't just a new and exciting toy he'd picked up on a whim, but everything the daylit world has to offer and more, a refreshing breath of life in the lonesome halls of his crumbling manse. A rotting castle fit for a forgotten prince, to be sure, but it was all the home he'd ever known, and he welcomes the ever-rare visitors with gratitude.

  10. As the sun retreats from the horizon and night finally settles upon his chambers, Rei wakes. Despite popular fiction claiming otherwise, he doesn't rise from a coffin but a bed, remarkable only in its magnificent size, with the windows boarded over in order to prevent the tiniest sliver of light from peeking through. It leaves him unable to appreciate the moonlight, but he can feel its glow overhead, mere echoes and reflections of its brighter celestial sibling that he can traverse with ease. This little inconvenience is worth the familiarity of sleep surrounded by pillows and sheets rather than a moldering crypt. A touch of humanity for an inhuman beast.

  12. There's precious little time before his favorite guest is set to arrive, so Andreios gets to work immediately, preparing refreshments and ambiance with a keen eye for detail and exacting sensibilities. There's a strange comfort that comes from arranging food he can't eat for the sake of providing for the person he treasures, a satisfaction in routine that promises something more as the night wears on. At long last, his finely-attuned sense of hearing picks up on an approach from far off, and soon after, the ever-important knock sounds, leaving him to abandon fussing with a bouquet to meet them at the door mere moments after the final rap against the wood.

  14. "So good of you to join me," Rei says by way of greeting, stepping aside so that the invitation further inside was clear. "I do hope the travel didn't give you any trouble. Providing an easier pathway might bring along some uninvited guests, so I thought it best to leave matters to Mother Nature instead. Red or white wine tonight, dearest?"
