- +Controlled Opposition __ You have already answered your own question. With genuine events there are always inconsistencies and so why would a fake event carried out by *professionals* trying to come across as genuine lack inconsistencies?
- It wouldn't. *It would be far more suspicious if a fake event lacked inconsistencies* (and it would also be an indication of amateur pranksters).
- The point is that merely because there are inconsistencies *it should not be considered an indication something is genuine*.
- What are "inconsistencies" you ask? Any kind of "factual inconsistency" in reporting which an "event realist" like you would be inclined to dismiss as an "honest mistake" and attribute it to the "pressures of a 24-hour news cycle".
- I am sure +Benjamin Donkey can cite numerous examples of reporting inconsistencies with the alleged "Orlando Shooting". But since you are predisposed to reject them all allow me to give you a simple, objective and undeniable example from an unrelated event to help you understand.
- A few months ago it was alleged a kid jumped into a gorilla enclosure leading to the gorilla to be allegedly shot dead. *Initially it was reported that the kid was 3-years old but then later revised to 4-years old*.
- That is an example of a "factual inconsistency" because the reported factual age since changed.
- While I am curious to know how a journalist reporting on the event managed to get the child's age wrong _I am sure there is a "plausible explanation" for it *which you would be powerless to not accept!*_
