Zuelia has dark purple skin and pink eyes. Her skin is dry and her hands are rough, blistered from engineer work. When she stays unprotected in the heat, her freckles become noticeable. She has no clue by she has no clue by she has them in the first place. We stan a thicc queen and she knows it.

BACKGROUND
Zuelia lived with her father, step-mother, and her 4 half siblings. She never payed much attention to any of them. She didn’t hate them, but she hated how her father thought they could replace what they had lost. Her mother was due to have another child when complications and poor medical care cost both her and the newborn their lives. That was when Zuelia was 12. Less than a month later her father was remarried. She didn’t realize until she was 15 that her father had been cheating. He had 2 children with her step mother already. Even though she was angry she never showed that she cared. After a while, she just didn’t. She spent her nights praying that her mother and baby brother had found their way to a better place. She carries a picture of them with her at all times. She was given a lot of freedom since her stepmother didn’t bother to acknowledge her. Unless she messed up. She’d acknowledge her then. She became an overachiever to protect herself. Then it just became standard. Yet, the lingering fear of failure never stopped following her. Zuelia was always intelligent and before her mother passed away she would help her with the engineering she did. That’s what sparked her passion.

FAMILY
- Chunta Zulema | Father | 58 | Alive | Her father gets along with her well. He took her out for movies and dinner and they have a long list of inside jokes. It’s not like that anymore, but they both hold onto the memories in hopes they can return to that place. There is a bit of resent in Zuelia’s heart from his previous actions, but she’s trying. And he’s trying. That’s all the really matters.
- Soraya Taryn-Zulema | 46 | Step Mother | Alive | Soraya constantly put her own children above Zuelia. She would ignore her and demean her and make her feel bad about herself. She would yell at Zuelia when she thought she wasn’t meeting her standards and enjoyed the fear she instilled in her. She doesn’t get the same satisfaction now that she is older, but it is definitely still there. Zuelia now blows her off and ignores her as best as she can
- Emin Zulema | 40 | Mother | Deceased | Zuelia was incredibly close to her mother. She followed her around and copied everything she did. She admired her mother more than anything in the world. They often pretended to be explorers and defenders of the universe turning the common room into the deep space. They both shared the wanderlust uncommon amongst their people. Emin taught her to sing and how to deal with problems. She developed her love for engineering from her and not a day goes by that Zuelia doesn’t wish she was still by her side.
- Alazne Taryn-Zulema | 18 | Half sister | Alive | Alazne’s snarky attitude didn’t allow her to grow close with Zuelia. She acted like she was the eldest child and ruled the household. She mistook Zuelia’s indifference as yielding her power to her and tried to push her over. Alazne always tried to start arguments and cat fights between them to get Zuelia in trouble and usually got that she wanted even if Zuelia didn’t retaliate.
- Nasya Taryn-Zulema | 15 | Half sister | Nasya was always kind to Zuelia but didn’t try to get close fearing she’d be pushed away considering the situation. She admires her from afar wishing that one day she could step over her boundaries and try to become closer with her older half sister. Nasya often tried to speak sense into her mother when she attempted to punish Zuelia. The respect and admiration was mutual.
- Eijaz Taryn-Zulema | 8 | Half brother | Alive | Zuelia spoils Eijaz from afar. She sends him toys and candy when he gets in trouble. Zuelia tried to be kind to him and treat him as if he were the baby brother that she had lost with her mother. It was a small secret of theirs. They would cause little disturbances together and stay out late exploring the areas around them, but act indifferent during the day.

PERSONALITY
Zuelia is a person that takes life as it comes. A total type b. She developed it as a defense mechanism at first, but now it’s become a part of her. Her relaxed nature shouldn’t be confused with laziness, however. She is a hard worker and likes to do things right. She fears repercussions for mistakes so she does everything slowly. Her mind takes her on adventures and she suffers a sever case of wanderlust. She daydreams often loving how her powerful imagination sweeps her off her feet. She isn’t all that sociable, cutting off as much conversation as she can. She isn’t rude, but she doesn’t come off as pleasant all the time either. She can be a glutton at times, but what can she say, indulgence feels good. Finding peace is something that matters a lot to her it means much more than family does. At least now.

- I think THE SECOND OPINION would be a good match for Zuelia. Mostly because of the cliche opposites attract. THE SECOND OPINION can’t take life any other way than what it’s supposed to be, while Zuelia couldn’t care less. Zuelia could teach THE SECOND OPINION how to life freely and carelessly. I think there is a lot of potential for the relationship to have cute moments of just them just trying to have fun.
