The Apartment Anniversary

Covet: [My god that took way to long to freakin get here.]
Tsaaq: ((-pats- But also ooo.))
Covet: -Eli pulled the hummer up to the back of the shop into a parking that sat next to the building, right behind the comic shop, where there was a sign that said Reserved Parking. He shut off the vehicle and looked over to Bliss in the passenger seat- Alright wer're here. Are you ready prepared for this, My Dear? -he asked her before he climbed out of the vehicle and walked over to her side to get her wheelchair out- I have to bring this up first, then I'll carry you up. This won't be a problem in the future. -He said to her with a smile-
Covet: *Rover not hummer
Tsaaq: ((Lmao.))
Tsaaq: She furrowed her eyebrows suspiciously. "Okay I better brace myself for the surprise, right?" She asked then her eyes widened a bit. "Wait why do you have to take my chair?" She continued to bombard him with questions but instead of waiting for questions she nodded her head in understanding. "Alright." Bliss whispered, trying to ease herself.
Covet: Don't worry, You'll see soon! -he called out as He made his way inside the covered stairwell, where there was the door that led into the office, and then the stairs themselves. There was also a large opened area near the stairs that'd looked like it'd recently had some prep done to it. He ran up the stairs two at a time with her wheelchair, then set it up in front of the other door at the top of the stairs. He made his way back down and over to the passenger door to open it up for her, with a giant grin on his face- Okay, We're set, I'm getting you out now. -he said leaning in and tucking his arm under her legs and around her shoulders to lift her out, hitting her dorr with his butt to close it.-
Tsaaq: Bliss waited patiently for him to return and forced a smile. She nodded her head again, wrapping her arms around him tight since it never mattered how many times he carried her she was still scared of falling. "Where are we going?" She asked him with a raise of her eyebrow.
Covet: We're going inside then upstairs. -He told her as they made their way inside.- That area over there -he said nodding to the open area that looked a little rough- Is where the verticle chair lift is going in. It's this big platform and you get to push a button. I was hoping it'd be put in last week to help with moving stuff in up here, but some parts got delayed. -He explained to her as he got to the stairs and started up them- The door down there leads into the office of the shop, and it has it's own deadbolt lock and keypad access that you can sync up to an app on your phone. -He said nerding out over the tech. Once they were at the top of the stairs he set her down in her chair- This door also has the same. -He said then reached into his pocket- But....You've also got your own set to get into both -Eli handed held out a keyring with two keys on it for her.-
Tsaaq: She turned her head back and forth as he spoke, looking down at the spot near the stairs once they were inside then glanced at him. "Ohhh." She said softly. "Oh that's efficient." She muttered as he lowered her into her chair. She placed her hands in her lap then looked over at Eli once more. "My own set of keys..." She trailed off as she took them and smiled a little. "Is this a-" Bliss paused, formulating all the details in her mind and figuring out the surprise.
Covet: An apartment. -Eli finished for her and then opened the door to walk inside- I havent seen the damage my mom and sister did...But Welcome to my new pad and our new getaway. -He turned back around to smile at her with his arms open.- Surprise!
Tsaaq: "You didn't." Bliss asked him with her eyes opened wide. She rolled towards him and tried to peek into the apartment. She turned to Eli and pursed her lips a moment. "You got a whole apartment?" Bliss inquired, looking shocked.
Covet: I did. You said something last week that kind of lit a fire under me. So I made some calls, did a bit of DIY labor and set this up. Mom and Tae decorated while we were gone over the weekend. Don't be shy...c'mon in. -He said motioning her in further- I spent most of last week painting and putting in new flooring. Then Dad and a couple of guys from the shop helped us get the big furniture moved in.
Tsaaq: She rolled into the apartment and craned her head every which way to take in her surroundings. "So you're moving out of OCH?" She asked him as rolled over to him. "They did a good job decorating while we were gone..." She whispered as she observed the decor.
Covet: Slowly, Yes. -He started- I'm still concerned about the other's living there. At least while Thad's still out there free. So I'll slowly be getting my stuff out of there. At the very least, this space can be ours when we want to get away without being disturbed by roomates, or parents. -He said to her- It's pretty good, I told them neutral stuff. Shall I give you the grand tour? -He asked her, rolling his "r" and sounding all proper.-
Tsaaq: "Well... It's not like it isn't a nice place." She said, still sounding wary. Bliss pursed her lips a moment as she looked around again. "Sure." She said as she faught a grin and went to roll beside him. "Where are we going to start?"
Covet: -He furrowed his brow for a second listening to her tone- Alright, first and formost, we've got the study and living area -He said directing with big over the top gestures as he walked around the house- Then we have the very necessary Netflix fort. The dining area, and the kitchen. Then if you follow me through this door. We have the bedroom Where I've made sure to put an extra dresser, so if there's anything you'd like to keep here, you have a place to put it. -He said as he pushed open the door to the bedroom-
Tsaaq: Bliss kept a careful eye on everything as he pointed it out. She continued to roll beside him glancing into the fort as she passed it. She tried to speed up so she could meet him at the doorway of the bedroom. She cautiously glanced inside. "This place is very lovely." Bliss said with a smile. "Are you sure you want to be around me so often though?" She asked with a sigh.
Covet: There's also a special tub that allows you to take a bath sitting down and all that good stuff in the bathroom for you. -He added with a smile that quickly dropped when she sighed- Hey, I know it's a lot to take in...-he started then sat on the corner of the bed.- And that's why I gave you your own key, so that choice is up to you. You can be around as much as you would like to be. I will happily  take your company whenever. -He told her with an encouraging smile-  I just wanted you to have a place where you can let go and get away from the everyday stress. Of course if I'm the one causing stress, well then this doesn't work out as well, but you understand what I mean -he said starting to ramble.-
Tsaaq: She stared at him then down at the keys he'd given her before sighing once more. "I can't move my things out of talon. I'm supposed to be the RA." Bliss said, more to herself than to Eli. She didn't lift her head. "I don't want to be a hassle because-because I can't walk right now and I don't know if I will but-" She began to speak but stammered over her words. "You know I don't want to be a burden." Bliss said softly.
Covet: -Eli reached out to grab one of her hands- That's why I didn't full out ask you to move in here. I understand you have other responsibilities and places you need to be. I don't want to take you away from that, or to have to make such a life changing decision. -He told her with a smile- As for you being a burdern, because you can't walk. Don't even think about it. I'm making the changes to make this place as comfortable for you when you are here. Not because I expect you to be here all the time. -He told her, tucking her hair behind her ear and tilting her head to look at him- I'm sorry if I made this too overwhelming.
Tsaaq: "It's not. I'm just creating problems in my own brain. I always do it." Bliss sighed and lifted her head to look over at him. "We both know what my home situation is like..." She trailed off. "Of course being here is the smart decision." Bliss said slowly.
Covet: -He leaned in and pressed a comforting kiss to her temple- I know. And I also know that's riding on your mind a lot. Especially where your Dad's been inviting strange women over. I know you tollerate your cousins, but they don't make any of that any easier either. So when we're here. This place is a no stress allowed domain. No work stress, no family stress, no school stress...erm...public stress?  -He questioned himself.- We can plan for nights that we're here, for just some us time. Or if you want to be here by yourself during anytime...once I get the lift in... You're more than welcome to it.
Tsaaq: She nodded her head a little then threw up her arms. "Well..." She started to sy with a grin. "Okay. I suppose I'll be around here quite a lot." She told him. Bliss nodded her head at Eli then went to wrap her arms around him for a hug.. "I'd like that." She said softly to him. "So does that mean we're staying here tonight?" She asked him
Covet: -Eli's face broke out into a huge grin as he hugged her back- I'm so glad you do. -He gave her another kiss , then looked around- Well We're already here, and we could continue our Anniversary weekend. But, If you'd like me to take you home I can do that as well. -Eli said to her.-
Tsaaq: Bliss shook her head. "I want to stay here for the night." She told him quickly the pressed her lips to his. "I'd say we could go to the fort but I sort of like the bedroom for tonight." She said.
Covet: Sounds perfect to me. -He said then pulled her from her chair and rolled across the bed with her in a move that probably took more effort than it needed- We've got plenty of time to break the fort in. -He spoke before smothering her with kisses  as he cuddled her in the bed.-
Tsaaq: Bliss tried not to yelp from surprise. "Of course." She said with a smile. She scrunched up her face a little since Eli was attacking her face with his love-loveyness. She giggled and nuzzled up against him then closed her eyes. "I love you." Bliss whispered and kissed his cheek. "Goodnight."
Covet: I love you too, My Dear. Goodnight and sweetest dreams. -He told her, holding her close as they both passed out.-
Covet: [YAY I CAN PEE!]
Covet: [and get the cat out of the toilet beforehand....dammit cat.]
