Chrismas with the Youngs

Alexithymiaa: -Adam sat in his shared bedroom with a game controller in his hand as he watched the screen of the tv, just the hands and a gun visible n the screen as his little character ran along to go shoot people. Lady was on the floor at his feet on one side of him and Winnie on the floor next to her on the other side, both completely content to be with him. // Gabe was in the kitchen fussing over the Christmas ham in true Gabe fashion, the entire house smelling like ham and deliciousness of all the sides he made with his moms.-
Tsaaq: She washed her hands and dried them once she was done doing her bathroom business. She attempted to slip pass the kitchen to evade any attention as she made her way to Adam and Gabe's room. She broke into a run before sliding into their room and exhaling. "I'm baaack." // Jacqueline sat at the dining room table with her legs crossed. "Need me to help?" She asked Gabe with a raise of her eyebrows. "With anything?"
Alexithymiaa: -Adam's eyes flicked up when he heard Hayley's voice before shifting back to the tv and his game. "Everything okay?" He asked her as he twisted the controller in his hands, chewing on the inside of his cheek because Call of Duty is serious business. // Gabe leaned down to take the roasted potatoes out of the oven, setting them down on top of the stove next to the giant ham that was cooling there. "I'm good. I'm pretty used to doing all the cooking myself so this is a breeze for me."-
Tsaaq: "I didn't want my mom to see me come back here again. She'll say I'm not spending enough time with her and your moms." She answered. She went to sit down on the floor between the doggos. "I wanna play." // She smiled and nodded. "Okay great." She smiled as she got up from her seat. "When should we call everyone for dinner? My daughter is hiding around here somewhere." Jacqueline put her hands on her hips, staring at the foods. She was very excited about the foods.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam smiled and paused his game, passing the controller down to Hayley. "You can take over. Just hit start when you're ready." He leaned down and stroked his hand over Winnie's head, insanely happy to be home and seeing her because he loved that dog a lot. // Basting the ham because I'm pretty sure that's a thing, Gabe set it to the side again and grabbed a serving dish, immediately beginning to pull the spiral slices of ham off the bone to lay them out on the dish so everyone could take their pieces. "I should be all set here in another five minutes or so. Did y'all want anything to drink?" He asked, his focus on the game being super intense because dont fuck up the christmas ham.-
Tsaaq: Hayley perked up and took the controller and her eyes focused on the screen, immediately fucking shit up once she unpaused the game. "Woooooooo!" Hayley cheered softly. // "Did you buy juice? Or did you buy that grape juice that fizzles? I probably should've bought that. I didn't think to buy anything." Jacqueline said. "Five minutes you said though..." She trailed off and went to look  towards the bedroom. "Dinner is gonna be ready soon." Jacque shouted.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam smiled as he watched her go full gamer, pushing up from his cushioned seat and leaning down to kiss the top of Hayley's head. "I'll be right back." He turned and walked out of the room, grabbing a box from under the tree that was terrible wrapped and definitely had way too much tape on it, but he tried. Making his way back into the bedroom, he set the gift down next to her and took his seat on the cushion again, keeping silent. // Gabe nodded his head, speaking over his shoulder. "We have fruit punch, pineapple juice, and cranberry juice. Help yourself to whatever you'd like. There's also soda and sweet tea in the fridge."-
Tsaaq: ((Lmaooo I'm just imagining the way this gift is wrapped.))
Tsaaq: She making shooting sounds with her mouth as she leaned forward. "Okay." She smiled then went back to serious shoot 'em up shit mode. "Stop yelling!" Hayley screamed back at Jacque. She saw Adam return in her peripheral and then paused the match as she turned to glance at her present. "Is this for me?" She asked him as she put the controller down. // "Hey! You stop yelling!" She shouted at Hayley. "She's not too old to start getting beatings." She murmured. "Hmm... fruit punch is fine." She answered. "That smells good... Is it ready yet?" She asked with a raise of her eyebrow.
Alexithymiaa: (The gift equivalent of his handwriting.)

Alexithymiaa: -Adam nodded with a smile, leaning his forearms on his legs as he watched her and gestured to the box. "It is for you. And I'm sorry it doesnt look very nice on the outside, I had a bit of trouble wrapping it. And then the piece I cut didnt cover the whole box so I had to use extra pieces and tape them together... and by that time nothing was staying together so I had to use more tape... " He trailed off, clearly distressed about his ugly present. // "It is ready." Gabe said with a nod, picking up the serving tray of ham and turning to set it down in the middle of the kitchen table before calling out. "Mama G! Mama E! Dinners going on the table!" He turned and grabbed the roasted potatoes and set them on the table as well, grabbing a pot holder and removing the roasted parmesan broccoli from the oven and setting it down on the stove.-
Tsaaq: She waved her hand at Adam. "It looks like you did your best." She giggled as she began to unwrap it. "I'm excited to see what it is. I wasn't even thinking about how the outside looked. I should probably grab your present after this." She lifted her head once she heard Gabe. "Ugh they're gonna want us to come to dinner soon." She grumbled as she went to finishing opening her present. // Jacqueline smiled but only for a second and went to get herself some juice before sitting at the table, ready for noms.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam kind of shrugged as he watched her pull the paper off the box, beginning to speak once she opened it. "I know it's not really much... but this is kind of how I see you. You're Wonder Woman. I feel like there's nothing you can't do or overcome, especially considering recent events. You were just missing the right outfit for it." // Gabe transferred the broccoli into a nice serving dish as well, then placed it on the table, taking his seat and waiting on everyone else. // The Moms came out of their bedroom because they had also been exchanging gifts in the privacy of their room, making their way to the table.-
Tsaaq: Hayley's eyes held on the Wonder Woman costume and she lifted it from the, kind of box thing that it was held in. She looked over to Adam and smiled. She went to glance at the tshirt and the socks as well. She got up from the floor and went to give Adam a big hug. "I love it." She whispered. "And I love you." Hayley said before pulling away. "Now it's super important that I get your present!" She went to sneak into the kitchen once more to grab the gift. // "Hello ladies." Jacque greeted then went to look at all the food. She leaned her elbows on the table "Have I mentioned how much I like your house yet?" She asked calmly.
Alexithymiaa: "I'm glad, and I love you too. It's not very easy to find Wonder Woman stuff in black, by the way." He said with a little laugh, leaning in to hug her before she raced off. // Gabe tapped his foot on the floor beneath the table anxiously, seeing Hayley come out of the bedroom. "Are y'all going to join us for this dinner anytime soon? Cause we can start without you." // Erin kicked Gabe under the table. Don't be rude. // Georgia smiled at Jacque, nodding her head. "You have, several times. Thank you so much. We're just happy to have you both here for Christmas."-

Tsaaq: Hayley froze in her spot when Gabe addressed her. "Uhhh... We're coming out just give us a second." She murmured as she slowly picked up the large gift and back out of the kitchen. "Quick open it before we eat!" Hayley said as she handed him the present. ((https://img.etsystatic.com/il/832278/969843296/il_570xN.969843296_f1m2.jpg)) "It's a geniune replica. I don't know where you're gonna put it but... It's something I've been saving up to give you for a long time. Also a new shirt. Mostly so I can wear it to bed when you're not around." She laughed. // "Right?" She scoffed. "Don't start without them." Jacque instructed. Her eyebrows rose. "Wow, are you really? We can make this a thing if you want?" She suggested. Though she looked wary. Literally no one has ever said they were happy to have Jacque anywhere ever. Ever.

Alexithymiaa: -Adam reached his hands out to take the box from her, setting it down in his lap as he gingerly started to remove the paper from it. Pulling open the box, he stared down into it, his eyes lighting up as he pulled the shield out to hold it up. "Woahhh. This is so cool!" He spoke excitedly, looping his arm through it as if he were actually the Captain. "I could make a mount for the wall in my room and hang it up when I don't need to use it." He spoke like this fuck would ever need to use a shield for more than cosplay.He pulled out the shirt and held it up before looking at Hayley again. "This is perfect. I can wear them together."  // Gabe huffed, sinking a bit in his seat  because he was hungry. // Georgia smiled again. "Of course we are. We love having you in our home. And Hayley is so important to Adam, so it makes us so happy to see them together. And of course we miss him like crazy so any opportunity to have them both here is wonderful. We're really glad our families could be together for the holidays. Maybe next year your husband would like to join us as well?"-

Tsaaq: Hayley grinned as she watched him open his gift. "I'm so glad you like it!" She cheered as she went over to basically tackle him for hugs. // Jacqueline still looked extremely shocked by the declaration. "Shit." She whispered and stifled a laugh. "Yeah that sounds like a great idea. I'll run it by him as soon as I get home." Jacque said with a surprised voice. "We'll do the holidays tgether." She said more confidently. "Where are these two? Adam! Hayley!"
Alexithymiaa: -Adam laughed and wrapped his arms around Hayley when she tackled him for hugs, falling backward over the beanbag cushion onto his back. "I think they're going to get really mad at us if we're not out there for dinner in a minute." // "Holidays together sounds perfect." Georgia spoke with a grin before flashing a look at Erin becauser she's the hard ass of the two and she knew that chick was going to get angry. // Erin puffed out her cheeks, raising her voice. "Do not make me get up from this table and come fetch you two!"-
Tsaaq: She went to kiss his face while snickering. "Pffft. Sooo?" She asked. Once she heard Mama Erin yell after Jacque she shot right up. "We're coming!" She called out. Hayley took Adam's hand and dragged him into the kitchen with the rest of the family. "Sorry." She said with her head down. // "Wow. I can wait to tell Sasha." Jacque said. She shook her head at Hayley because she knew her daughter. "Just sit down please, so we can eat?" She asked exasperatedly.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam hauled up to his feet with Hayley's help, laughing as they made their way out of the bedroom and over into the kitchen. "Sorry mom." He said as he dropped his head in unison with Hayley, moving to pull Hayley's chair out for her before he took his own seat. // Gabe smirked at the prospect of Adam getting in trouble since he was usually the bad one between the two of them. "Now that we're all here. Everyone dig in and there's plenty for seconds." // Erin glared at Adam before her gaze softened when she watched him pull out Hayley's chair for her , happy he was remembering his manners because you know these chicks taught him all of his chivalry.-
Tsaaq: "Thank you." She said to him quietly as she began to smile again and took her seat. She went to fill her plate with the foods. "This smells great Gabe." She said. // "So glad you guys finally showed up." Jacque said sarcastically. "You know, your moms and I were just talking about how they want us to come back next year. Maybe even bring Sasha... Probably not Remy. I don't think you guys are ready for him yet." She rambled. "But Hayley, your dad and I would be here. And it would be a new tradition. Doesn't that sound nice?"
Alexithymiaa: -Adam began to help serve everyone their dinner and get everyone settled with the foods on their plates before taking his seat again and starting to dig in. "That would be really nice. To get everyone together for the holidays, I mean. And maybe Remy and Cadence would like to come too?" He asked, because he did like Remy and Cadence. // Gabe nodded his head with a cocky grin. "Of course it does. I made it. Dig in." He spoke before cutting his ham and shoving it into his mouth. // "Oh nonsense. We'd be happy to have Remy as well. The more the merrier. At Thanksgiving time we have a full house full of people. Friends and neighbors and family... but usually around Christmas everyone is more inclined to stay with their exclusive families so our house is so empty. We'd love to fill it with your family."-
Alexithymiaa: (I just picture the Korean asshole kids being disgusted with staying here...)

Tsaaq: Hayley scoffed. "I just lost my apetite." She said with a shake of her head. "Okay it's back." Hayley murmured and went to shovel food in her face. "Really?" She inquired with her eyebrows raised, equally as surprised as Jacque was. "Are you sure?" // Jacque's eyebrows rose. "Okay, I'll have my son and his wife come." She said. "Maybe my parents but that's a stretch. My mother likes to complain." She laughed.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam started to eat, staying silent as he just listened to them go back and forth about future plans, probably sneaking ham to the dogs throughout dinner. // "Of course we're sure. We'd love to have everyone." Georgia spoke between chewing, excited that this seemed like it would pan out as she went on about enjoying her dinner. She likes this shit.-
