- Ticket ID: 2445218
- Subject: Tsohost migration
- Status: replied
- Update from Krasen I. (Support Team)

- Hi Ian,
- Thank you for the response.
- 1. DNS control panel and settings will be migrated to Tsohost
- 1.1 There will be no nameserver changes
- 1.2 A new tsohost control panel will give access to all the same functionality
- 1.3 A new client account and login will be provided with access accessing all currently registered domains under one login
- -- All of this is correct.
- 2. Domain credits will be available to use on Tsohost on a like for like basis
- 2.1 Once domain credits have been fully used no further credits will be available for purchase
- 2.2 There may be discounts on multiple domains or not in future T.B.C
- -- Again, this is all correct.
- 3. Hosted Email accounts are to be migrated to Tsohost with all settings intact
- 3.1 Initial migration will retain a legacy technology platform which will likely need further migration to a new platform at a future date TBC
- 3.1.1 Future migration of mailboxes and accounts will likely require manual intervention by clients if they wish to keep existing emails online TBC
- 3.2 All email access / mailbox login / servers etc from a client perspective will remain unchanged
- 3.3 All unused email account 'slots' and administration of existing accounts will be available to administer on Tsohost from the control panel without further migration to a new technology platform.
- -- All of this is correct, but the last point is a bit different, allow me to explain. Basically you will be given a Cloud package that you can use to set up new mailboxes, older mailboxes would still need to be moved manually by the customer.
- 4. Email forwarding settings will be migrated for each domain
- 4.1 All forwarding settings can be edited, added and deleted on the new Tsohost panel
- 4.2 No additional migration will be required for forwarding settings as they may eventually be for hosted email.
- 4.4 There are no limits on the number of forwarding addresses per domain.
- -- This is correct.
- 5. VPS will also migrate (not using this)
- -- This is correct.
- Looking forward to your response.
