- #12HourChallenge
- ----------------
- For those who don't know, the 12 hour challenge asks us to pick a new game to learn the speedrun for, and finish our first run within 12 hours (specifically this weekend). It's supposed to be a game that you've never done a speedrun of, with potentially the bonus of playing on a system you don't usually play.
- I've been wanting to learn Shovel Knight for awhile - basically ever since I played the game - so i thought this would be the perfect opportunity! And while I do play my Wii U relatively often, I have never speed run a game on it - so I sort of fit that criteria half way.
- Anyways, I won't be doing the whole 12 hours in one sitting. I can't find that much time to play video games. Instead...
- Friday
- ------
- ~2 hours watching videos and taking notes (offline)
- 8:00 pm MST - stream starts! 4 hours of practice/learning
- Saturday
- --------
- 8:00 pm MST - more stream!
- -depending on how practice went, I'll do one or two runs!
- So, yeah.... this will probably add up to less than 12 hours. Closer to 10, maybe 8-ish hours of stream. But I'm a dad and I have a house and a job and it's Super Bowl weekend.
- Still should be fun though.
