  1. Majority of people wants to have their own 18th birthday party. It is time when we start being an adult so it is obvious that we want to celebrate that event with our friends and family. However, it isn’t so easy as it looks at first glance. This is why there is a popular trend to have a party not only for ourselves but also for another person – together! It looks completely different from perspective of person that celebrates birthday and guests that came there. I will try to present both sides and their thinking.
  2. To start with perspective of people celebrating birthday, mostly the biggest argument to throw party with someone else is just money. It’s way cheaper to throw a party with someone else than alone. Also, when you throw a party with someone that you have mutual friends, you don’t even have to rent bigger place for that – there will be the same amount of people there!
  3. Furthermore, preparation wouldn’t take so much time because you won’t do that alone. Two people for the same work that you would do alone? It sounds great! You would save your time and energy.
  4. However, it isn’t said that you would have same friends with second person. Then your guests will have to be in the same place with other guests that they don’t know and you can’t predict how it would end up.
  5. As for the perspective of guests, they can make new friends that they would enjoy whole night with. Isn’t it beautiful? Not to mention that that kind of party would be way more buzzy than regular one! This is how you make great memories for years for you and them all.
  6. Unfortunely there is a chance that some people won’t come to the party because not everyone can afford to buy two gifts instead of one. We can tell that they don’t have to buy anything but it doesn’t really work, usually guests buy something anyway because it’s a tradition.
  7. Summing up, I think that sharing party with someone else is much more effective and economical. Also perspective to meet a lot of new people is really interesting and I can’t afford that.
